What is an engineering curtain wall?

In the curtain industry, it is generally not the curtain business of home improvement, which can be called engineering. Compared with home improvement, engineering curtains are relatively simple and elegant in design and color, the colors are basically popular colors, and there are more monochrome fabrics, not to mention roller blinds and shutters. If curtains are used, there are generally two categories: special yarn-dyed or dyed engineering fabrics and special shading fabrics, depending on the specific needs and requirements of customers.

Common fabrics

1, cotton: plant fiber, its main advantages are good hygroscopicity and breathability, and it is comfortable to wear, but cotton is easy to wrinkle, not easy to dye bright colors, easy to fade, aging quickly, shrinking after washing, poor elasticity, poor tolerance, strong alkali resistance, easy to mold, but resistant to moth.

2. Hemp: Because hemp fabric belongs to plant fiber, its characteristics are basically similar to cotton fabric except that the cloth surface of hemp fabric is smoother, more elastic, more breathable and more moisture-absorbing and heat-dissipating.

(1) The strength, thermal conductivity and hygroscopicity of hemp plants are higher than those of cotton fabrics, and they are tough and durable, absorbing sweat and refreshing.

(2) Good mildew resistance and water resistance, not easy to be corroded by water and moldy.

(3) The sensitivity to acid and alkali is low, and the elasticity of hemp fiber is the worst among all kinds of natural fibers;

(4) The ironing temperature of linen fabric is 170~ 195 degrees, and it can be directly ironed on the reverse side after water spraying.

Washing knowledge: similar to the maintenance method of cotton, you don't have to wring water after washing, just hang it dry.

3. Wool fabric

(1) Strong abrasion resistance: the surface of wool fiber is protected by a layer of scales, which makes the fabric have good abrasion resistance and hard and tough texture;

(2) Light weight and good warmth retention: the relative density of wool is less than that of cotton, so the wool fabric with the same size and thickness looks very light. Wool is a bad conductor of heat, so wool fabric has good warmth retention, especially the felted fabric, which has smooth fluff on its surface, which can resist the invasion of cold air from outside, making it difficult to dissipate the heat generated by human body;

(3) Good elasticity and wrinkle resistance: wool has natural curl, high resilience and good fabric elasticity. Clothes sewn with wool fabric are not easy to wrinkle after ironing and shaping, and can keep the close-fitting surface smooth, crisp and beautiful for a long time, but sometimes hairballs appear.

(4) Strong hygroscopicity and comfortable wearing: Wool fabric has strong hygroscopicity and can absorb water discharged by human body, so it feels dry and comfortable to wear.

(5) Not easy to fade: High-grade velveteen fabrics are generally dyed by a higher process, so that the dyeing penetrates into the inner layer of the fiber, and the fabric can keep bright colors for a long time.

(6) Dirty resistance: Because there are scales on the surface, it can hide dust and prevent static electricity.

(7) Poor alkali resistance, because animal protein is easy to be moldy and worm-like in wet state, and it is difficult to wash. It will shrink and deform after washing, so it can only be dry-cleaned.

Washing knowledge: washing with special silk wool detergent requires padding cloth or steam ironing. First iron the reverse side and then the front side, otherwise there will be "aurora".

4. Silk: The luster is good, the color is bright and luxurious, and the fabric made is light and soft, suitable for summer clothes, with good hygroscopicity and coolness, and natural silk protein is beneficial to skin health. Disadvantages are shrinkage, wrinkling and fading after washing and ironing. Pay special attention to the storage of clothes, and use acidic detergent when washing.

Washing knowledge: wash with special silk wool detergent, hang in the shade to dry, and iron at 150℃.

5, polyester:

(1) polyester fabric has high strength and elastic recovery. It is not only durable, but also crisp and wrinkle-resistant, and does not need to be ironed after washing.

(2) Polyester fabrics are less hygroscopic, which is very convenient to wash and dry quickly during wearing. After wetting, the strength is not reduced and deformed, and it has good washing and wear resistance.

(3) The disadvantage of wearing polyester fabric is poor air permeability, easy to produce static electricity and dust pollution and poor melting resistance. When you wear it, you will come into contact with soot and mars, and immediately form holes. However, the above shortcomings can be improved in cotton, wool, silk, hemp and viscose blended fabrics.

(4) Polyester fabric has good wear resistance and thermoplasticity. Therefore, the clothes made have good pleating and shape retention.

Washing knowledge: It is suitable for all kinds of detergents, and needs to be ironed with cloth or steam, otherwise it will appear "mirror" or the fabric will become soft, and the ironing temperature will be 180-220 degrees Celsius.

6. Nylon: Nylon competes with synthetic fiber fabrics for its excellent wear resistance and portability, and it still occupies an important position for half a century.

(1) The abrasion resistance of nylon fabric ranks first among all kinds of natural fiber and chemical fiber fabrics. Similar products are 10 times higher than cotton and viscose fabrics, 20 times higher than pure wool fabrics and about 4 times higher than polyester fabrics. Its strength is also very high, and the wet strength decreases very little. Therefore, both pure nylon fabric and blended nylon fabric have good durability.

(2) Among synthetic fiber fabrics, nylon fabric has better hygroscopicity, so its wearing comfort and dyeability are better than polyester fabric.

(3) The nylon fabric is light and thin, which adds a sense of lightness when used in clothing.

(4) Nylon fabric has excellent elasticity and elastic recovery, but it is easy to deform under small external force. Therefore, it is difficult to set the wrinkles of clothing, and it is easy to wrinkle when wearing it.

(5) Nylon fabric has poor heat resistance and light resistance, so attention should be paid to washing, ironing and wearing conditions during use to avoid damage.

Washing knowledge: suitable for all kinds of detergents, which need to be ironed with cloth or steam. Don't use too much force when ironing and washing. The ironing temperature is 150- 180 degrees Celsius.

7. Acrylic fiber:

(1) Acrylic fiber has the reputation of synthetic wool, and its elasticity and bulkiness are comparable to those of natural wool. Acrylic fabric is not only stiff and wrinkle-resistant, but also has good warmth retention. The results of thermal insulation test show that the thermal insulation performance of acrylic fabric is about 65438 05% higher than that of similar wool fabric.

(2) The light fastness of acrylic fabric ranks first among all kinds of fibers. 1 year, silk, nylon, viscose and wool fabrics exposed to the sun are basically destroyed, while the strength of acrylic fabrics is only reduced by about 20%.

(3) Acrylic fabric has bright colors. Blending with wool in a proper proportion can improve the appearance color without affecting the feel.

(4) Acrylic fabric has good heat resistance, ranking second among synthetic fibers, acid resistance and oxidant resistance, so it is widely used.

(5) Among synthetic fiber fabrics, acrylic fabric is relatively light.

(6) Acrylic fabric has poor hygroscopicity, sultry feeling and poor comfort.

(7) The structure of acrylic fiber determines that its fabric has poor wear resistance, and it is the product with the worst wear resistance among chemical fiber fabrics (washing and maintenance methods are similar to those of nylon).

8, viscose fiber

(1) viscose fiber has excellent comfort properties: moisture absorption, air permeability, softness and drape. The hygroscopicity of viscose fiber fabric is the best in chemical fiber, and its wearability and dyeing performance are better than those of synthetic fiber fabric.

(2) Viscose fiber fabric is soft to the touch and bright in color, which is superior to other chemical fiber fabrics and has a sense of brilliance and nobility.

(3) Ordinary viscose fabrics have good sag, but poor stiffness, resilience and wrinkle resistance.

(4) The dry and wet strength of fiber-rich fabric is higher than that of ordinary viscose fabric, and its stiffness and wrinkle resistance are also better. Brighter color difference, monochrome printing is generally better.

(5) The viscose fiber fabric with high wet modulus has soft handle, smooth surface, small wet deformation, good wear resistance, washing resistance and alkali resistance, and the cotton blended fabric can be mercerized.

(6) The new environmentally-friendly Tencel fiber integrates the advantages of cotton, washing and viscose fiber, and has soft hand feeling, good wrinkle resistance, strong moisture absorption and air permeability, and is comfortable to wear. Tencel fiber's foreign trade names are Tencel and Lyocell.

(7) Materials containing natural cellulose, such as wood, cotton linters, reeds, etc., are mostly chemically treated and have poor shape retention. Washing and maintenance methods are similar to nylon.

9. Spandex elastic fabric refers to the fabric containing ammonia fiber. Spandex elastic fiber (produced by DuPont under the trade name Lycra) is a relatively expensive material because of its high elasticity. Therefore, the elasticity of the fabric changes with the proportion of mixed spandex. The elastic range of spandex elastic fabric is 65,438+0%-45%, which can combine the curvy beauty of clothing modeling with the comfort of wearing, and its appearance style, moisture absorption and air permeability are close to those of similar natural fiber products.
