Namco is located between Dangxiong County and Naqubango County in Lhasa, about 200 kilometers northwest of Lhasa. It is the highest saltwater lake in the world, with an altitude of 47 18m, a length of 70km from east to west, a width of 30km from north to south and an area of 1920km2. It is the largest lake in Tibet and a holy place in the eyes of pilgrims. "Namco" refers to Tianhu Lake, Linghu Lake or Shenhu Lake. Five islands in the lake stand in the blue water. Optimal travel time

Traveling to Namco must be in the rainy season from June to September every year. In June, 10- 1 1, Namco Club could not enter due to heavy snow. 11-May is cold and dry, so it is not suitable for entering the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Transportation:

3.2 There are two kinds of one-day tours, one is Lhasa-Yangbajing+Kuanqiong Gangri Glacier-Nyainqentanglha Mountain Observation Deck-Zhaxi Peninsula and return to Lhasa the next day.

One is to stay in Lhasa-Nyainqentanglha Mountain Observation Platform-Namco-Shengxiangtianmen for one night and return to Lhasa the next day.
