What is Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort like?

It has been four years since the Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort opened. Because I heard that the ski resorts in Luneng are average, I have never been there. At the beginning of this month, I finally decided to visit Luneng. After all, I always felt that it would be a big loss if I didn’t use the room coupon in my hand.

However, after actually skating, I feel that I wrongly blamed Luneng. I will go into detail later, but first I will talk about the hotel that everyone is most concerned about.

Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort currently has three hotels opened: MGallery, Swiss, and Yuanxiang. This time I stayed at the Swiss cabin villa. I don’t know if anyone in the MGallery can get an appointment. Anyway, when I went there, all the rooms were full, and some of the people who couldn’t get an appointment were even directly arranged to a villa in Switzerland.

I think it would be great if we could arrange a villa in Switzerland. They are all small wooden houses with a thick layer of snow on the roof. It is really Swiss. It is said to be a single-family cabin, but in fact it contains several independent rooms.

The house I live in should be a relatively large log cabin, with six guest rooms on two floors. The room area is 40 square meters. The roof is sloped and the floor height is very high. The overall space is very open and bright. It is very comfortable to live in.

You can smell the very natural scent of wood when you open the door. Every time you enter from the cold outside, the warmth mixed with the scent of wood hits your face, giving people a very happy feeling.

I always thought that the wooden house was just a gimmick, but I didn’t expect it to be a real wooden house. The whole house is made of very large wood. You can directly see the mortise and tenon structure at the corners, and the furniture is also Most are made of logs.

The welcome gift includes Northeastern-style mushroom fruit, which comes in a small bowl. It has a rich sweet taste and is quite delicious.

I live on the second floor and have a small balcony with a good view. I can see the entire group of cabins and villas and the snow field in the distance. If you are not afraid of the cold, you can wear a bathrobe and hold a cup of coffee to pose for photos. It still feels like a good film.

The floor heating in the room is very sufficient. The clothes I washed the night before were laid directly on the floor and dried the next morning. The corresponding problem is that it is relatively dry. Fortunately, the hotel is equipped with a humidifier.

The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and each room has a bathtub. Looking at the ice and snow outside, it would be so comfortable to make a cup of tea and take a bath.

If you want to eat, you need to take a shuttle bus to the hotel lobby. Generally, the bus can be there within ten minutes after making a phone call. There is a restaurant and a bar in the hotel lobby. Christmas decorations were already done when I went there, and the atmosphere was quite strong.

The dishes in the buffet area of ??the Swissotel restaurant are not particularly rich, but you can choose to try the "hard food" a la carte in their restaurant.

Have you ever tasted yam? The Changbai Mountain version of yam is made from ginseng. It tastes bitter and tastes like ginseng. There is a layer of sugar coating on the outside, but it is actually quite delicious. . Eating ginseng as yam is something only we Northeastern veterans can do.

After eating the ginseng growing in the ground, there is another Changbai Mountain rainbow trout swimming in the water, which is called "water ginseng". There are two varieties of Changbai Mountain rainbow trout: one is the ordinary rainbow trout that looks black; the other is the yellow golden trout in front of you. Generally speaking, golden trout is more expensive than rainbow trout, and its taste is more delicate and delicious.

Have you ever eaten silkworm chrysalis? Have you ever eaten such a big silkworm chrysalis? This dish looked like a dark dish, and I rejected it at first. After doing a long period of psychological construction for myself, I mustered up the courage to do it with my eyes closed, eh? It's fried to a crispy texture without any strange smell, and it's really fragrant.

When you come to Changbai Mountain, you must try birch sap. Birch sap is a liquid extracted from the trunk of the birch tree. It tastes sweet and sour, very refreshing. If I hadn't seen the bottle, I would have thought it was a juice.

There are also shortcomings. At present, the commercial supporting facilities of Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort are not mature and rich enough.

Probably because it just opened, there aren't many shops on the shopping street, and I didn't try the three or four restaurants. Friends who want a change of taste can take a taxi to Songjianghe to eat, which is more than half an hour's drive away. It’s not easy to book a car on the mobile app, so you can ask the front desk to help you call a car.

Skiing is very popular this year. A lot of people ask which ski resort is suitable for them to go to. I have always viewed ski resorts from the perspective of a ski enthusiast and always thought of the number, length and variety of snow trails. Sex is a very important indicator.

But after skiing at the Luneng Resort in Changbai Mountain this time, my thoughts changed slightly, and I felt that for novices, perhaps having fewer people is the best option. A large ski resort with dozens of ski trails is a waste of money for novices, because if you can ski one or two trails in a day, it will be very good. Of course, because Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort is located in Changbai Mountain, its good snow quality is also a very important factor.

If you are a junior skier and you hear others say that the ski resort in Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort is average, and then you are persuaded to quit, I think it is not necessary. I have always heard that Luneng's ski resorts are relatively average, with no advanced trails, short trails, and a small number of trails.

I didn’t expect this experience. I think Luneng’s ski resort is really delicious. This is my skating data. I skated ten times in two and a half hours, which also included teaching a few novice friends to wear boards and take photos.

Because the ski slopes are short, I don’t need to rest in the middle of the trip. I skied with an action camera. The time I took the cable car was just enough time to watch the replays, find problems, and correct my actions for the next trip. I was able to do it with ease. .

I am now in the process of progressing from beginner to intermediate level of snowboarding, and I don’t dare to skate too fast. When I was skating in Chongli last month, there were a lot of experts, and everyone was skating very aggressively. As a result, I was very cautious when skating. I always had to be distracted and pay attention to the situation behind me, and I was always ready to stop and give way to others.

But this does not happen at Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort. In the afternoon, the intermediate trails are basically noodle snow pressed out by the snow machine in the morning. You must know that I have difficulty getting up and have not skied for a long time. Noodles are snowing. Probably because there are many newbies coming here to slip, and they are all concentrated in the beginner area.

Afterwards, I shared this experience with my ski coach, and he replied to me as follows:

So, novice skiers, you really should give Luneng a chance.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to ski. You can still take the cable car to the top of the mountain and pose for photos, and you can also look at Changbai Mountain in the distance from the observation deck at the top of the mountain.

Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort also has many snow play projects, including snow spins, snowmobiles, snow tanks, snow bikes, UTVs... I experienced a UTV and shuttled through the forest. In the snowfield, I felt the speed and passion, which was always exciting.

During the two days I went there, the ski resort was busy making snow day and night. By this month, it is expected that more snow and ice activities will be opened one after another, including real-life CS in the snow and snow bowling. , floor kettle ball, snow sledge, cute pet zoo... It should be more fun by then.

There are actually quite a lot of interesting places near Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort. Jinjiang Wooden House Village and Neyin Ancient City can be reached in ten minutes, and the western slope of Changbai Mountain and Baixi can be reached in more than half an hour's drive. , in terms of time arrangement, you can combine half-day attractions + half-day resorts.

Western Slope of Changbai Mountain

At 9:30 every morning, there is a free bus from the tourist service center of Luneng Resort in Changbai Mountain directly to the Western Slope Scenic Area. Everyone must arrange a time to arrive before 9:30, as the bus will not wait for anyone. The drive takes half an hour and the return trip is free.

When you arrive at the Xi Slope Scenic Area, you first take a bus to the foot of the mountain. If it snows all the way at the end of the month, you will take a snowmobile up there.

The end of the bus is the starting point of more than 1,400 steps. There is a tourist service center where you can rent knee pads, goggles and thick clothes. However, there is no signal on your mobile phone when you go up. Remember to bring cash.

I was very lucky when I went there. It was cloudless and I had an unobstructed view of the Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain. The Tianchi Lake seen on the west slope is wider than that on the north slope. There is some mountain cover from that angle on the north slope. In fact, Didn't see it all.

Jinjiang Wooden House Village

This village is not far from the gate of Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort and no tickets are required. The house is entirely made of wood, including most of the roof tiles and chimneys.

There are several small shops on the roadside that look very old-fashioned. The eaves are decorated with corns and bright red lanterns, and the windows are decorated with window grilles, which is very warm.

A very enthusiastic elder sister invited us to visit her home. We saw a very simple Northeastern Kang, and the interior decoration was also very nostalgic, giving us the illusion of traveling back to the 1980s and 1990s.

I suggest everyone come here in the afternoon before the sun sets, just in time to see the rising smoke and the setting sun, which is peaceful and beautiful.

Baixi Rafting

This is very similar to the Demon World Rafting on the Erdaobai River I mentioned in my previous article. The point is that it is very close to Luneng. Previously, Guagua and Xianyu were small My sister also played it when she came to Changbai Mountain and agreed that it was very fun.

You must get up early to go rafting in Baixi River. Like the Demon World, you can also see rime here. The rafting time is very long, so everyone must wear thicker clothes.

Before rafting, everyone will be given a water ghost jacket with suspenders like the one worn by fishermen. The stream is very shallow, so you can just wear water ghost clothes and wade in the stream.

There are rumors that Baixi has been listed as a water source protection area, and the rafting business may be suspended. However, I can still go there this month. If you have the opportunity to go, please play and cherish it.

Except for the free bus to Xipo, you need to take a taxi to other attractions. You can ask the hotel front desk to help you call a taxi. They are all regular taxis. Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort has a cooperation agreement with the local taxi company, so the price of renting a car is not very expensive. If there are many people, it will be more cost-effective.

We have talked about how to get to Changbai Mountain several times before. I came here this time, experienced it on the spot, and learned some traffic information this year. I feel that the following three options are more feasible when going to Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort. .

Option 1: Direct flight to Changbaishan Airport

This is the preferred option. Currently, there are direct flights to Changbaishan from Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, Yantai, and Changchun. Kunming, Wuxi, Hangzhou can fly to Changbai Mountain via stopover. The latest winter flight schedule is as follows:

After arriving at the airport, there will be a free shuttle bus from Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort. The shuttle bus covers all flights in and out of Changbaishan Airport, so you will definitely find a bus when you go there. However, it is best to call the hotel in advance to reserve a seat.

I chose this plan, flying to Beijing one day in advance, and then flying from Beijing to Changbai Mountain early the next morning, so that I could arrive at the resort to check in before noon.

Option 2: Changchun transfer

This option is suitable for northern friends who are more convenient to take the high-speed rail to Changchun. After arriving in Changchun, you can take a bus to Songjianghe Town, which is closest to Luneng Resort in Changbai Mountain. There are 5 buses from Changchun Expressway Passenger Terminal to Songjiang River every day, and the journey takes about 4 hours. After arriving at Songjiang River, we took a taxi to Luneng for about half an hour.

Option 3: Transfer in Shenyang

For transportation to Shenyang, take the K7511 train from Shenyang to Songjianghe Station and get off. This is a slow train that starts with the letter K. You get on the train in the afternoon of the first day, spend the whole night on the train, and arrive at the station early the next morning. It takes half an hour to take a taxi from Songjianghe Town to Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort.

For time arrangements, you can refer to my itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrive at noon to play in the snow and take photos, and in the afternoon go to Jinjiang Wooden House Village or Neyin Ancient City

DAY 2: Set off to the west slope of Changbai Mountain in the morning, and you can still ski if you come back early

DAY 3: Get up early and go rafting in Xixi, and continue skiing when you come back

Overall, Changbai Mountain Luneng Resort is very cost-effective Still quite high. If you are an entry-level skier, not a master of non-advanced skiing, or you just want to come to Changbai Mountain to see Tianchi and play in the snow, and you happened to have stocked up on room coupons before, I think you can still use it.
