It’s so magical and magnificent! Hiking the Wangcang Micang Mountain Grand Canyon Scenic Area "Travel Notes"
I met Micangshan Grand Canyon by chance a few days ago because of the red leaves of Micangshan. A teacher in the literature group vividly described Micangshan's red leaves with flaming red leaves and throngs of tourists with pictures and texts, which made people fascinated. Due to work commitments, it took a few days before I found the opportunity to experience it on site. Unexpectedly, as soon as I arrived at the foot of Yunwu Mountain in Guohua, I found out that most of the red leaves had withered away and were no longer as gorgeous as they were in their prime. Viewing would have to wait until next year. The enthusiastic locals enthusiastically introduced me to the Micangshan Grand Canyon.
Following the morning breeze, we walked for more than ten kilometers and arrived at the entrance of the Micangshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. Park the car in the parking lot of Cizhuba Service Center and hike into the Micangshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area. Crossing the Wind and Rain Corridor Bridge and going up more than 200 meters is the first scenic spot in the scenic spot, "Dayake Plank Road". Dayake is more than 20 meters long, three to four meters wide and four to five meters high. The plank road is built next to the cliff. Visitors can reach the top of the cliff with their hands and feel the excitement of "picking the stars with their hands". The cliff is smooth, and today people have carved poems from the Tang and Song Dynasties on it, with fonts the size of a fist, mostly in regular script. It is powerful, clear and easy to distinguish, full of scholarly atmosphere.
After passing through the big cliff and turning around, you will find the "Fairy Pond". The Fairy Pond has two mountains facing each other, and a gorge opens up. The torrent of water forms a shuttle-shaped pool here. The water is as clear as a mirror, with a few rays of sunlight casting sparkling waves. The dark yellow and reddish fallen leaves beside the pool are surging cheerfully and adding to their charm. The scenery is beautiful, but I always feel that it has nothing to do with fairies. Naming it "Fairy Pond" seems too far-fetched.
Just as he was wondering, the male fellow tourist exclaimed and the female ran away quickly. It turns out that there is a cave on the stone wall next to the Fairy Pond, called the "Shameful Girl Cave". Looking at the shape of the Fairy Pond again, I couldn't help but laugh: "This is how the Fairy Pond is." After passing the Fairy Pond with a smile, I stood on the scenic cable bridge and looked back. The peaks on both sides of the Fairy Pond stand tall and tall, and ancient trees and vines twine around them, just like fairies taking a bath with their hair spread out. The "Fairy Pond" deserves its name and is similar in spirit and shape.
Opposite the Iron Cable Bridge is the Longtan Waterfall. The waterfall has a small drop and is divided into large and small channels by a large stone. The upper one is larger and the lower one is larger, forming a half-open folding fan shape. The water flow is fast and water drops are splashing everywhere. "Big Pearl" Beads falling on a jade plate." The small water flow is as calm as a white line hanging upside down. The size is relative, the movement and stillness are combined, and the beauty is equally divided. (This is the state of the dry season, and it may be a different scene when the water is high)
The most spectacular one is the Longtan Waterfall above. The cliff of Longtan Waterfall is semicircular, standing vertically, hundreds of meters high. Even if you look forward to taking off your hat or having a sore neck, you can't reach the top. The waterfall comes out from the waist of the cliff, without any worries or bumps. Like a silver pillar coming from the sky and thrusting straight into the bottom of the pool, broken silver shards gush out from the bottom of the pool, stirring up a pool of water. In order to record this indescribable magnificence, I took off my coat, rolled up my sleeves and imitated a professional photographer, squatting or lying down to find the best place to take pictures. My "major" caught the eye of a foreign tourist, and we met and became friends by chance. He said that this was his second time here this year, and the last time he came was during the flood season. At that time, the Qianlong Waterfall was even more exciting. The waterfall formed a crescent shape, never breaking or separating, not deflecting or spreading. It fell as a whole, shaped like a giant sail, and sounded like thunder. Water droplets splashed for tens of meters, white mist rose, the sun shone slantingly, and a rainbow spanned the sky. The scene is like the Buddha's light in Emei, which can only be encountered but cannot be sought.
We walked together and walked up the clean winding mountain path. Half an hour later we arrived at the source of Longtan Waterfall. The creation of nature is always amazing. The cliffs of Longtan Waterfall are as sharp as a knife. , but the river bed at the source is as flat as a stone. The clear river water is like a huge piece of jasper laid flat on the volcanic stone river bed. The mountain peaks and trees are inlaid in this jasper. It is so quiet that people are moved. The noise and restlessness deep in the soul have been washed clean. I can't bear to break this. Original, solemn and tranquil. Walking quietly forward for about 50 meters, the mountain suddenly unfolded. A sloping volcanic stone dam hundreds of meters long and thirty or forty meters wide jumped into the eyelids. The Qianlong Eighteen Pools are in the middle of the dam from bottom to top. Arrange on the upper line.
Each of the Ten Qianlong Pools has its own shape, whether deep or shallow, large or small, several connected or alone, or completely exposed under the blue sky and white clouds, enjoying the embrace of the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter, or Half hidden and half visible, it is shy under the cliff and keeps a mystery.
The pools below are shallow and small. The water in the pool is turbulent and the water bubbles are rolling, as if there is a burning fire at the bottom of the pool. There are several pools in the middle, "like holding a pipa and half covering the face", half hidden in the cliffs and rocks. The bottoms of the pools are connected to each other. The water is dark green, neither overflowing nor alarming, just like a lady. One of the pools has a strange stone lying across it. The upper and lower layers are in descending order. The front end is rounded and multi-shaped, and the top is sunken in the shape of an animal's horn. There is a pit of rainwater, and the wind brings fallen leaves in it, dyeing the water light red. "Viewed horizontally, it looks like a ridge and a side looks like a peak, with different heights and distances." Visitors are benevolent in their opinions, and wise in their wisdom. It is a metaphor for thousands of directions, but it is difficult to express its spirit and express its meaning. The two pools above are like replicas, with the same shape. One above the other, three short waterfalls are connected in series, like a hadada on two green emerald basins.
A middle-aged man who looks like a teacher is explaining the geological wonders of Yilong Shibatan to several of his students based on the principles of the formation of sinkholes and caves. I beg to differ with him. Because the rock of Qianlong Shiba is volcanic stone, the main component of volcanic stone is silica, which is extremely hard and not easily eroded by rain. Tiankeng and caves are made of limestone, the main component of which is calcium carbonate, which is easily eroded by rain. I prefer to believe in that wonderful legend (although I know it is unscientific, but I am still swayed by emotion)
Legend has it that a long time ago, there were two people in Cangwang Gorge above the Qianlong Eighteen Pools. A green dragon protects this pure land. One day, a green dragon suddenly wanted to go out and have a look, so it poked its head and dived under the rocks, leaving behind the wonder of the Eighteen Pools of Hidden Dragons. Another green dragon also wanted to go with it, but was discovered by the god who was watching over them, so he used the dragon-suppressing stone to suppress it in the first pool, creating today's incredible and wonderful landscape "Zhenlongtan."
The Zhenlong Stone is located in the Zhenlong Pool, the first of the eighteen pools. It is gray-white, rectangular, and inserted diagonally into the pool. The water in the pool is about two meters deep, and a huge dragon body stands out in the water. The dragon body is round, more than a foot thick, about seven or eight meters long.
After admiring the beautiful scenery of Qianlong Eighteen Pools, you can take a rest in the woods next to Zhenlong Pool. There are mostly tall pine trees in the forest, and occasionally there are a few trees with red leaves that have not yet fallen off. They are stubborn and proud. existence. Several brightly colored hammocks hang among the pine trees. Swaying leisurely in the hammock, reminiscing about the beautiful scenery along the way, the sunlight filtering through the leaves and vines is colorful and magical.
After a short rest, we continued to move up, and after appreciating the fragrance of the chestnut forest, the depth of the shallow sky, the good wishes of the support rock and the steepness of the half cliff, we arrived at the reception center of the Micangshan Grand Canyon. .
The grand red leaf gate at the entrance of the scenic spot, the spacious tourist evacuation square, the Chinese-style tourist service center, the large parking lot, the standard tourist toilet... all make people feel amazing and warm. . It turns out that this is the main entrance to the Micangshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area.
Due to the many scenic spots along the way and the lesbians walking the same way, it took us more than 2 hours to complete the main scenic spots.
When I said goodbye to Micangshan Grand Canyon, I was a little reluctant to say goodbye. The beauty of red leaves is temporary, but the beauty of Micangshan Grand Canyon is eternal and dynamic. The magical Qianlong Eighteen Pools, the magnificent Longtan Waterfall, the quiet Longtan Canyon, and the lifelike Boot Rock are all amazing and impressive. As soon as we came out of Cizhu Dam, the heads of great men came to our faces between the two peaks. The great men slightly raised their heads and stared at the sky. The atmosphere was majestic, and the domineering spirit of "even if you count the famous people, you still look at the present" filled the world.
Mr. Zhang Wenjing, the famous glacial geologist, is absolutely right when he says, “Throughout the world, rice warehouses are the best.” If you want to go to Micangshan Grand Canyon, don’t forget to call me. I am definitely a free and competent tour guide. Because the fate of chance encounter has become eternal, Micangshan Grand Canyon has been engraved in my heart and always in my dreams.
