Where is Jiangyin Confucian Temple?
Jiangyin Confucian Temple is located in the bustling Renmin Middle Road in the urban area. This is a temple dedicated to Confucius in past dynasties. It was built in Jingyou for three years in the Northern Song Dynasty (1036). It is a well-preserved ancient architectural complex of Confucian Temple in the south of the Yangtze River and a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province.
1996 10 jiangyin municipal people's government fully resumed opening to the outside world. Four statues of Confucius and Twelve Philosophers in Dacheng Hall (IV: Yan Hui, Zeng Shen, Kong _, Monk). Twelve philosophers: Min Yi, ran yong, Duanmu Ci, Zhong You, Shang Bo, You Ruo, Ran Geng, Zai Yu, Ran Qiu, Zhuan Xu Shi and Zhu. Mingluntang shows Jiangyin Yimin's deeds of resisting Qing Dynasty and guarding the city: Xiqiao shows Jiangyin's 5,000-year history of civilization; Dongdian is the exhibition hall. The south of Dacheng Gate is the commercial area of folk culture. Jiangyin Confucian Temple, which integrates culture, tourism and commerce, is an important literati landscape and tourist attraction in Jiangyin.
