Brief introduction of Huang Jianye

Huang Jianye, a scholar, film critic and stage director. He is currently a full-time associate professor at the Department of Drama and the Film Creation Institute of National Taipei University of the Arts. He used to be the director of the Institute of Script Creation/Theater Art of Beijing Institute of Art, the curator of the National Film Archive, and the master planner of the Taipei Film Festival. His works include Yang Dechang Film Studies, The Pursuit of Humanist Films, Trends and Light. , and edited Film Dictionary, Century Review Illustrated China Film History 1896- 1999, Cross-century Taiwan Province Film Records, etc.
