What should I prepare for a trip to Changbai Mountain?
Introduction:
1. Changbai Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAAAA-level tourist scenic spot. The main peak of Changbai Mountain is named for its white pumice and snow. Known as "the snow-covered evergreen pine for thousands of years, climbing the highest mountain in the world". The scenic spot is a tourist attraction with the reputation of "holy mountain, holy water, strange forest and immortal fruit" and the birthplace of Manchu. In Qing dynasty, it was called "Holy Land". The emperor must personally or appoint a minister to visit Changbai Mountain in Wula, Jilin (now Jilin City). 1983 In the summer, Deng Xiaoping climbed to the top of Changbai Mountain, inscribed banners of "Changbai Mountain" and "Tianchi Lake" and exclaimed, "It's a pity not to live in Changbai Mountain". Changbai Mountain has been the sacred territory of China since ancient times, and it is one of the top ten famous mountains in China. Changbai Mountain was called Buxian Mountain in the Classic of Mountains and Seas, Tutaishan in the Northern Wei Dynasty, Taibai Mountain in the Tang Dynasty and Changbai Mountain in the Liao and Jin Dynasties.
Second, the name of Changbai Mountain comes from Manchu, which means Changbai Mountain when translated into Chinese. In Manchu literature, it is more customary to call Changbai Mountain White Mountain. Changbai Mountain has a long history. About 600 million years ago, this used to be Wang Yang. From Proterozoic to Mesozoic, Changbai Mountain experienced Caledonian, Hercynian and Himalayan orogeny, and a series of faults and uplifts occurred in the crust. A large number of underground magma spewed along the cracks in the earth's crust and accumulated around the crater, making Changbai Mountain soar into the sky and forming a concentric volcanic cone. Around the crater stands 16 peaks with an altitude of over 2500 meters. There have been several eruptions in Changbai Mountain with a long interval. Three eruptions were recorded: the first was August 1597, the second was April 1688, and the third was April 1702. Gray-white glassy pumice erupts from several volcanoes piled up on the top of the mountain, and the snow here lasts for more than 9 months every year. Seen from a distance, it is silvery white, so it is called Changbai Mountain.
