Why do Japanese people love to wear yukata?
In Japan, the yukata was originally put on the body directly after bathing. As a traditional simple outfit for enjoying the coolness, the correct way to wear it is the same as a kimono, and some do not wear underwear underneath. Because the style of a yukata is more like a traditional kimono, with a belt, a flower knot, and a corresponding hairstyle and handbag, people often associate yukata with the expensive traditional kimono. Every summer, Japanese girls have two things they must do: one is to wear a three-point jumpsuit and go to the beach to play in the water; the other is to wear a yukata to watch the fireworks. Yukata is a must-have for both men and women. In Japanese-style hot spring hotels, the hotel usually provides yukata for guests, and some people even wear yukata when going shopping or eating in restaurants. Wearing a yukata usually needs to be tied with a cloth belt to prevent the yukata from slipping open. In a private place, such as wearing a yukata after bathing, it may only be tied with a simple belt. When wearing a yukata, it is usually worn with Japanese geta. Sumo wrestlers wear yukatas in public, and new sumo wrestlers can only wear thinner yukatas in any weather, even when the weather is cold. In summer, most sumo wrestlers wear them. However, for an ordinary Japanese, a kimono may only be worn once in a lifetime during the coming-of-age ceremony, or there may not even be a chance to wear it once. However, the consumption behavior of yukata is closer to the price of general clothing than that of kimono, so most young girls want to wear a different yukata every summer than in previous years. Yukata, like a kimono, is tepid, and the low neckline at the back of the neck shows the subtle and reserved beauty of the Japanese. Yukata is a traditional summer clothing in Japan. The combination of colors and patterns try to reflect the cool feeling of summer. Blue, purple and white backgrounds are the most common, with cute patterns such as goldfish, fireworks, and butterflies. The model wearing a yukata holds a fan in one hand and a cloth bag in the other, wearing wooden clogs and creaking. Step by step, the scenery is really pretty and infinitely sexy. However, this traditional and classical Japanese charm has been made ridiculous by some avant-garde designers and developers in recent years. Among them, there is a beautiful woman in a yukata, with a tanned skin, blonde hair, and nails on her hands and feet painted in weird seven colors. She speaks loudly and is not subtle at all. In order to expand the market, the designer went to great lengths to invent the mini yukata. (Author Tao Ying)
