Taishan jade related information

Naqin village, which is poor because of stones, has become rich because of stones in the past two years. In this small town full of attractive coastline, with the roaring machines, wealth comes with it.

Ah Fu, 32, never imagined that his hometown, Naqin Village, was born by the sea for generations, poor because of stones, and rich because of stones in the past two years.

But this turning point of fate came at least ten years late.

Stone Village is very rich.

Naqin Village is located at the junction of Taishan City, Jiangmen City and Yangdong County, Yangjiang City, at the westernmost end of the Pearl River Delta. It has jurisdiction over 17 natural villages with a population of more than 4,000, with agriculture and fisheries as the mainstay for generations.

Backed by dozens of kilometers of coastline, it is a bare granite undulating hill dotted with rice fields.

165438+1In the middle of October, vehicles from other places can be seen from time to time on the only road leading to the village. Of course, there are many local private cars, and billboards like "Stone Museum" and "Jade Museum" can be seen everywhere.

These stones are mainly divided into yellow wax stone and taishan jade. Ordinary stones are piled up at the door like farm firewood, and put on the counter better. Most of the more expensive winter red and crow skin are "hidden at home".

In a jade museum, several members of the local jade association are drinking kungfu tea leisurely.

"Now in that piano, you can meet millions or even millions of bosses casually." Zhu, secretary-general of Beidou Branch of Taishan Jade Association, said that in the past two years, there have been more than 40 vehicles in the village, many of which are more than 300,000 to 400,000.

Then he pointed to a young man in his twenties next to him and said, "Look at him. The year before last, he raised ducks and cattle. Last year, he began to dig stones. Now he has hundreds of thousands of jade and is his own boss. "

The "boss" of the association, in his early 30 s, is laughing and slapping with an Apple mobile phone, and he doesn't talk much.

A restaurant nearby is a frequent gathering place for quarrymen and farmers. Stone farmers eat here before and after work, and when the harvest is good, the boss will invite them to "eat a big meal". People who come from other places to "search for gold" often stop here to look for opportunities, and often the first transaction is completed here.

Ling, the first president of Jiangmen taishan jade Association, recalled that at the end of last century, the whole Naqin was still poor, and two or three villages were fishing, so the economy was better. But other villages are all rocks, with large population, few people and poor. Some people gamble and eat white powder.

"Just look at the sanitary conditions. At that time, we had already smelled the smell before we walked into the farmer's door, because the urinal was placed in the corner and the stones they dug were also placed next to it. "

Ten years later, Ling came to Naqin again, but it was another scene. Many villagers built three or five-story houses along the highway, and some even invested in hotels.

According to local insiders, the existing deposits of Naqin Village Credit Cooperative have exceeded 654.38 billion, and the per capita income is more than 20,000, double that of two years ago.

"These stones are strange enough. When they arrived, there were more stones, and now they have more money than us. " Dongping Town, the neighboring Yangdong County, is a high-quality fishing port, and its economic level was always higher than that of Naqin two years ago.

China's "fifth largest jade"

Taishan jade became famous and became the "fifth largest jade" in China.

When Fu was very young, the pianist began to pick up stones all over the mountain. It's just that the villagers have always been aware that every time they "pick up sesame seeds and then watermelon."

It begins with crystal. At that time, local villagers specially excavated crystals and put the topaz and jade at the bottom of the pit aside.

Until 1996, a chaozhou people came to Naqin and found "Mount Taishan Yellowstone", so he asked local fishermen to help him collect it. After these yellow wax stones were shipped to Chaozhou, they were named "Chaozhou wax stones" and sold abroad.

In the past two years, Mount Taishan wax stone has been rapidly spread and purchased in Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, and the mining industry has entered a peak period.

At the beginning, Qin people often laughed at those people who came from other places to buy stones. Later, they found that the yellow wax stone was more valuable than crystal, so they repeatedly mined the yellow wax stone and left the jade aside.

In 2000, another Guangzhou native came to the same place, bought a lot of jade materials dug from granite cracks, and invited sculptors from Fujian to screen, carve and sell the stone materials.

Ling told the reporter of Outlook Oriental Weekly that taishan jade is like Shoushan Stone, so he is loved by Zhejiang people. Many experts in Taiwan Province Province and Fujian Province who play Shoushan Stone also have special respect for taishan jade.

Qin people realized the preciousness of stones and flocked to Sanshiwan and Huanghua Bay, the main producing areas. In more than a month's time, hundreds of people dig deeply and carefully every day. Both pits have been dug several times, and nearly a thousand pits around them have been searched.

For a time, local villagers changed from farmers and fishermen to "stone farmers".

According to Ling's memory, at that time, they didn't know the identification. All the stones that look pleasing to the eye have moved home, and I don't know how to maintain them. Later, many people used peanut oil for maintenance. At that time, it was not uncommon to go to farmers' homes to buy stones and cockroaches.

But once again, what the villagers couldn't think of was that the jade they thought was "very profitable" a few years ago actually rose hundreds of times in the past two years-hundreds of thousands of stones were sold at that time, and they rose to hundreds of thousands after processing.

In the second half of 2009, at least 300 businessmen from Zhejiang bought taishan jade with a price of nearly100000 yuan.

"Farmers don't know the details of the market and don't earn much," Ah Fu told this reporter. It is accidental and hard for farmers to dig stones, and they can't earn much money. And dozens of operators in the village, one person receives hundreds of stones, and the difference earned is hundreds of times more.

Ling also sighed. "The main link is in several local resellers who know the details."

This is an estimate, not cash.

Ah Fu also thinks that the popularization of taishan jade is ten years late, which also makes the local people miss the opportunity to make a fortune.

20 1 1 At the beginning of the year, Ah Fu decided to "gamble" and contract a bay with his uncle.

A year ago, the original boss dug up "tens of millions" of jade on this beach. When the excavation was almost finished, the boss gave up and quit.

Good luck. Not long ago, Afu's own jade museum also opened smoothly. After digging for more than ten years, I finally became my own boss and became a member of the local jade association.

"The amount is very small now, but it still needs to be dug." Afu made an abacus with our reporter, and digging jade requires a hook machine. Hooking machine costs 2000 yuan a day, spending 1000 yuan, and hiring 5 helpers. You can earn thousands when you are lucky. If you are unlucky, you will lose money.

The difficulty of mining and excavation is increasing day by day, but many foreign bosses continue to join the ranks of mining and excavation.

Guo Yong, the boss of Jiangxi who worked as a building material and stone in Taishan for several years, saw the rising trend of yellow wax stone and taishan jade, and also left the building materials behind, and hired several local farmers to start the jade business.

"If I had come to dig jade a few years ago, I would be a multimillionaire now."

A few years ago, Guo Yong's friend learned the news of Taishan yellow wax stone from the bosses in Zhejiang and Chaoshan, and brought two yellow wax stones. But at that time, he didn't feel very impressive and didn't come to dig.

According to Ah Fu, there are nearly ten bosses in the main producing areas of taishan jade, and the beach of nearly 10 kilometers is tossed and turned, with the deepest part being more than ten meters.

Despite this, the local Rongnanfeng is still unwilling to join the jade management team. "The millions rumored in the village are valuations, not cash. Whether it is worth so much money and whether it can be sold is another matter. "

Rong Nanfeng used to love gambling and opened a "trust" company in the local area. Having dealt with "capital" all his life, he used gambling as a metaphor, saying that if he had poor eyesight or couldn't carve a good jade, he might lose all his money.

"Almost all the main producing areas in taishan jade have been dug. In less than three years, the jade in Taishan City may be gone. " Afu said.

Speculation or quality?

It's not just Ah Fu who's worried.

How to popularize taishan jade and realize the transformation from resources to technology has become a difficult problem for the local jade association.

It is understood that there are hundreds of stone and jade museums in bei dou zhen where Naqin is located, but there is only one sculptor, who is from Fujian. Most taishan jade was carved in Fujian, followed by Guangdong Sihui.

Ling Longwen believes that taishan jade is still in the early stage of development, and there is no hype about Shoushan Stone and Huanglongyu. The soaring price in recent years is also the impetus of the latter two, but it is much cheaper than other jade of the same quality.

Ling Longwen and his colleagues have different views on the issue of "hype". Ling believes that the promotion of taishan jade should be based on restoring the truth and speaking with quality.

"With the promotion of industry associations, exhibitions and auctions have been held regularly in taishan jade recently, but at present, they are mainly in Taishan, Jiangmen and Zhongshan, and their influence is relatively limited." Zhu told this reporter.

On the other hand, due to the widespread distribution of jade in Mount Tai, ecological and environmental problems also need to be paid attention to. Our reporter's investigation found that with the increasing depletion of jade in Sanshiwan and Huanghua Bay, mining positions began to turn to nearby mountainous areas and spread to Yangdong County bordering Taishan.

Ererkeng West near Huanghua Bay is located in Pingdi Village, Dongping Town, Yangdong County. The mountain in this pit is older than other mountains, so there is more vegetation. Insiders pointed out that the amount of jade here is small and the price is difficult to estimate.

At the scene in the west of Erkeng, our reporter saw that more than 30 mu of farmland has almost become a sand and gravel factory. The washed white sand and gravel piled up into hills, and the deep excavation in the middle became a pool.

Guo Yong revealed to this magazine that he has never had the corresponding development qualification since the development of stone. There is only one qualification certificate for the entire management Committee, so several of their bosses use one.

Ling Longwen believes that the main producing areas of Taishan yellow wax stone and Taishan jade are near the bay, and local villagers use hook machines to dig on the beach, which will not cause vegetation damage and soil erosion. However, in some nearby mountainous areas, vegetation was destroyed due to the mining of granite.

"The mining in taishan jade is still in the spontaneous stage," Ling Longwen told reporters. After the individual boss contracts a certain lot to the village collective, he can carry out mining. Jade in Mount Tai is not as concentrated as that in Fujian and Henan, but scattered in beaches and pits in Fiona Fang, Fiona Fang, which is difficult for the government to manage.

"Qin's greatest wealth is stone," Ling Longwen suggested to the government earlier. The sea around Qin is very clear, and there are many strange rocks on the coast. If it is developed into a tourist attraction, it will be more conducive to the local sustainable development than the temporary jade fever.
