Some provinces in China have introduced catering regulations, which are arranged as follows:

Liupanshui, Guizhou 1. On August 5, 2020, the announcement issued by Liupanshui City stated that it made provisions for cadres and the masses to hold school banquets and teacher banquets. Party member cadres and public officials must resolutely do three noes, that is, do not operate, do not participate, and do not support;

2. Libo County, Qiannan Prefecture. On August 4, 2020, Libo County, Qiannan Prefecture issued an announcement, which stipulated the relevant matters for cadres and the masses to organize further studies and banquets for teachers. It is strictly forbidden to hold school banquets and thank-you banquets in violation of regulations, and use the opportunity of children to go to school to receive gifts, gifts, consumption cards and other money and materials in violation of regulations;

3. yuqing county, Zunyi City. On July 30, 2020, the discipline inspection and supervision organs of yuqing county will concentrate on intensifying the rectification of cadres and workers' behaviors such as holding school banquets, champion wines and teachers' banquets against the wind and discipline, and seriously deal with the problems found;

4. dushan county, Qiannan Prefecture. If a citizen holds a banquet in violation of regulations, once verified, the organizer will unconditionally refund the gift money, and the hotel hosting the banquet will be punished;

5. Zhenning Autonomous County. In order to avoid novel coronavirus infection caused by the gathering of people during all banquets such as weddings, Zhenning Autonomous County completely banned all banquets such as weddings;

6. Qinglong County. Qinglong County issued a notice to the leading group for epidemic prevention and control in COVID-19, saying that in order to effectively prevent the spread of epidemic and infectious diseases in COVID-19 in winter and spring, and block the spread risk caused by people gathering and getting together because of disorderly catering. The types of banquets allowed are wedding wine and funeral wine, except that these two are forbidden.

Legal basis: Article 18 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases stipulates that disease prevention and control institutions at all levels shall perform the following duties in the prevention and control of infectious diseases:

(a) the implementation of infectious disease prevention and control planning, plans and programs;

(2) Collecting, analyzing and reporting the monitoring information of infectious diseases, and predicting the occurrence and epidemic trend of infectious diseases;

(three) to carry out epidemiological investigation, on-site treatment and effect evaluation of infectious diseases and public health emergencies;

(four) to carry out laboratory detection, diagnosis and pathogen identification of infectious diseases;

(five) the implementation of immunization programs, responsible for the use and management of preventive biological products;

(six) to carry out health education and consultation, popularize the knowledge of infectious disease prevention and control;

(seven) to guide and train lower-level disease prevention and control institutions and their staff to carry out infectious disease monitoring;

(eight) to carry out applied research and health evaluation on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases and provide technical advice.

National and provincial disease prevention and control institutions are responsible for monitoring the occurrence, prevalence and distribution of infectious diseases, predicting the epidemic trend of major infectious diseases, proposing prevention and control countermeasures, participating in and guiding the investigation and handling of epidemic situations, carrying out pathogen identification of infectious diseases, establishing a testing quality control system, and carrying out applied research and health evaluation.

Municipal and county-level disease prevention and control institutions with districts are responsible for implementing plans and programs for the prevention and control of infectious diseases, organizing the implementation of immunization, disinfection and control of biological hazards of vectors, popularizing knowledge on the prevention and control of infectious diseases, monitoring and reporting local epidemic situations and public health emergencies, and conducting epidemiological investigations and detection of common pathogenic microorganisms.
