Gansu held the launching activities of Gansu winter and spring tourism season from 20 17 to 20 18, aiming at guiding all levels and departments in the province to work together to promote tourism, taking Dunhuang as the leader, giving full play to Dunhuang's cultural relic effect and powerful influence as an international cultural tourism city, expanding and warming up Gansu's winter and spring off-season tourism market, promoting the transformation from half-year tourism to year-round tourism, and making contributions to Gansu's sustained and healthy economic and social development.

According to reports, this year's winter and spring tourism season focuses on 24 differentiated and characteristic winter and spring tourism routes, such as cultural research tour, hot spring health tour and Hexi Corridor photography tour, creating a series of winter and spring tourism products with market competitiveness, such as happy ice and snow tour, characteristic folk tour and frontier tour. Gansu Provincial Tourism Development Committee took the lead in integrating the resources of relevant provincial departments and cities and states, and concentrated on planning and launching the Silk Road high-end tourism commodity exhibition. There are also 62 large-scale theme activities, such as Mingsha Mountain Climbing and Sand Sliding, Yeliguan Tug-of-War, langmusi Dafa Festival, Wenxian Baima Cultural Tourism Festival, Wuwei Spring Cultural Temple Fair and Pingliang Yingchun Large-scale Light Show, involving various types of integration of tourism and culture, sports, commerce, research and folklore.

At the same time, it also integrates the entire industrial chain of tourism-related enterprises such as scenic spots, hotels and airlines to launch bundled preferential policies. There are 186 scenic spots in the province offering free and semi-free tickets, and more than 800 star-rated hotels offer large discounts, with the lowest discount reduced to 20%. Airport Group fully coordinated the major routes to cut prices substantially without stopping in winter. Through the above-mentioned series of measures, Gansu province has formed a good situation of resource integration, holding a group to keep warm, borrowing from each other and developing together.
