The latest edition of Thailand travel guide

Thailand is a place full of surprises and expectations. I am very happy to go to Thailand for the first time, but Thailand is located in the western half of Indo-China Peninsula and is deeply influenced by China culture and Indian culture. This is an excellent tourist destination. Here are some detailed strategies for you.

Mango Travel Diary: I said that I spent 5,000 yuan in Thailand in the past month, and many netizens found it incredible. Here, I have sorted out my expenses and itinerary for your reference.

Maybe for some people, this is a poor trip. After all, some people ask for a star-rated hotel and a one-night stand, but for me, I have experienced the life I want to experience, which is enough. If you really want to travel in poverty, I can really travel in China. For example, in Xinjiang, tickets for traffic attractions are expensive. If you want to visit more scenic spots, you can only save money, save money and save money.

1. Total travel expenses in Thailand: about 5,000 yuan.

Round-trip air ticket 780 yuan+Thailand transportation is about 663 yuan+Thailand boat ticket 300 yuan+accommodation 1 130 yuan+catering and others are about 2 127 yuan.

1. Round-trip air ticket: 780 yuan (Macau-Bangkok, Chiang Mai-Macau) including tax.

Remarks: Holders of passports and air tickets from Macao can go through the customs directly and stay in Macao for seven days without a Hong Kong and Macao pass.

Some netizens asked me how to book air tickets and where to book them. I booked a special ticket in AirAsia official website two months in advance (there is a Chinese version, and I checked it again when writing this strategy, and Baidu was the first to enter AirAsia Chinese official website). The mobile phone can download AirAsia APP.

The abbreviation of AirAsia is a low-cost airline between Asia. Originally, the air ticket was lower than that of ordinary airlines. Coupled with frequent promotions, people often grab a round-trip ticket from Thailand and Malaysia for one or two hundred yuan. Therefore, if you have a travel plan, you may wish to pay attention to the ticket dynamics of AirAsia in advance.

Precautions:

1. 1. Because it is a low-cost airline, AirAsia does not have free baggage, but it can carry one piece of luggage with it (in principle, it does not exceed 7 kg, but some people can 10 kg). I always pack all my luggage in a big backpack, or a small suitcase with a backpack will do; 1.2. Because it is a low-cost airline, AirAsia has no free meals. If necessary, you can order food on the plane (there is a food catalogue and price in the magazine in front of the seat); 1.3, airasia air conditioning is very cold. Ladies should bring scarves and shawls if they wear shorts and skirts, because airasia blankets can't be borrowed, so they should buy them. 1.4. Before you travel, you are advised to log in to the account self-service check-in machine in AirAsia official website. It is recommended that you mail your boarding pass, print your paper boarding pass in advance and change your boarding pass at the airport (you can board the plane directly with your paper boarding pass in Malaysia). 2. Big traffic in Thailand: around 63 yuan.

Bangkok-Phuket air ticket 180 yuan (book special air tickets at AirAsia two months in advance).

Bangkok-Dacheng train 3 yuan (15 baht) and Bangkok-Chiang Mai train about 130 yuan (both bought and taken at Wathua Lumphang Railway Station in Thailand).

Dacheng-Sukhothai Bus 70 yuan, Sukhothai-Bangkok Bus 80 yuan, Krabi-Bangkok Bus 200 yuan (all purchased at the local bus station or booked at the inn).

Remarks: The above expenses are only approximate expenses converted into RMB, not exact expenses, but the error will not be too big.

3. Tickets for Thailand: 300 yuan

Phuket-Emperor Island 170 yuan (including hotel transfer and lunch, one-day tour booked at Phuket Hotel, because I think Emperor Island is very good, so I discussed with the tour guide to stay on the island for two nights and tell me where to return, etc.).

Phuket -60 yuan, PP Island (the hotel will pay a one-way ticket, including the hotel's dock connection fee).

PP Island-Krabi 70 yuan (the hotel will take a one-way ticket, which is very close and you can go to the pier by yourself).

4. Accommodation: 1 130 yuan.

For three nights in Bangkok, 190 yuan, I stayed at Jiushan Road (the first night I stayed in the girls' room in 90 yuan, the international youth travel service with the number one reservation, and the second and third nights I spent 100 yuan to stay in a double room with a beautiful woman from Northeast China, who went alone with the youth travel service (she went to Bangkok, Sukhothai and Chiang Mai, and the hotel at Jiushan Road in Bangkok was recommended by a donkey friend).

Suketai 120 yuan for three nights, staying in Xincheng (Northeast Beauty Double Room, the price is 80 yuan, and the hotel temporarily found in Xincheng is spacious and bright, with balcony and living room, so you can stay at home).

Seven nights in 360 yuan, Chiang Mai, I live near the ancient city (a double room with a beautiful woman from Northeast China, room rate 120 yuan. Going to Nanhai Island, Thailand, the northeast beauty I met in Bangkok first went to Chiang Mai. She found the guesthouse, a two-story single-family wooden house surrounded by trees, and had a western breakfast in the morning, which felt very good.

Four nights in 200 yuan, Phuket, living in Patong Beach (sharing a double room with a Shanghai girl I met on the plane who was also traveling alone (she played all the islands in southern Thailand). Room rate 100, the proprietress is very nice. It's a row or single-family wooden house with flowers and trees in front, which is very cost-effective.

Two nights in Emperor Island 120 yuan (Shanghai girl double room, room rate 120 yuan), so I stayed at our buffet hotel at noon (a one-day tour from Phuket to Emperor Island includes snorkeling and lunch, so I discussed with the tour guide to stay for two nights before going back, and the tour guide helped me bargain (finally, my friend and I gave him a tip of 300 baht).

Two nights in PP Island 100 yuan, staying at the beach near the disembarkation pier (Shanghai girl double room, room price 100 yuan, temporarily found after going to the island).

Krabi Island 100 yuan for two nights, staying in South Australia and Hainan (Shanghai girl double room, room price 100 yuan, temporarily found after going to the island).

There are still three nights spent on the bus or at the station, plus two days of round trip, which is about 28 days in Thailand.

Remarks: How to book accommodation? Generally speaking, when I go abroad, I book them on booking and agoda. I will judge the price and location by myself. In China, we usually book accommodation, air tickets and train tickets by going there and flying pigs. In fact, the price of many homestays in Thailand is 100 yuan. They are all wooden houses with one or two floors, surrounded by flowers and trees. They are comfortable, but there are many mosquitoes.

6. Eating and others: 2 127 yuan

Eat: Hotel accommodation in Huangdi Island and Chiang Mai includes breakfast. In Thailand, it is not expensive to eat in places frequented by local people. Generally, breakfast and lunch are relatively simple, and dinner is mixed with a few friends who play together. On average, one person in 20 yuan and 30 yuan can eat well.

Small traffic in Thailand: 40 yuan (200 baht) is a good deal for two people to rent a motorcycle for one day in Phuket Hotel. We refueled ourselves and rented the island for three days.

Second, Thailand's tourist season I went to May, which is considered as the off-season of Thailand's tourism, because it is neither a holiday in China, nor a summer vacation or winter vacation, nor a holiday in Thailand. For friends who plan to go to Thailand during the Spring Festival, air tickets and accommodation are definitely much more expensive.

Third, the way to travel in Thailand is to travel alone. Although I started from China alone, I basically had companions during my stay in Thailand, all of whom were same-sex beautiful women of the same age traveling alone. For example, in Bangkok, I was accompanied by a beautiful woman from Northeast China who lived with a youth traveler. Later, we went to Dacheng and Sukhothai, played together in Chiang Mai, and then had company in Kashgar, Xinjiang. On the plane from Bangkok to Phuket, there was a beautiful woman accompanying her and traveling alone, so she basically played the islands in southern Thailand.

In this way, my accommodation fee can be saved by half, and there will be people taking pictures during the trip.

Thailand tourist routes 1. My route: Guangzhou-Macau-Bangkok-Dacheng-Sukhothai-Bangkok (transit)-Phuket-Emperor Island -PP Island-Krabi Island-Bangkok (transit)-Chiang Mai-Macau-Guangzhou.

Remarks: In fact, the best route in Thailand should be: from southern Thailand to central Thailand and then to northern Thailand, that is, first to Phuket, Krabi, PP and other islands, and then to Bangkok, Dacheng, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. I won't repeat this, but the domestic direct flight ticket to Phuket is much more expensive, so I chose the repeated route. If the budget is high, friends can choose not to repeat the route.

Someone asked me why I always leave from Macau, because the flights from Guangzhou are always red-eye flights, and it is inconvenient to leave and arrive.

Step 2: Journey

Because it's a long way, I won't write it day by day. Just give a general description.

Bangkok: I stayed at Jiushan Road for three nights. On the first day, I visited Kaoshan Road and went to Thailand Grand Palace and Liming Temple (in the same direction). The next day, I took the bus light rail to the weekend market and went to SiamCenter and Silom.

Go shopping.

Dacheng: One-day tour. In the morning, I took the cheapest train from Wathua Lumphang Railway Station in Bangkok with a beautiful woman from Northeast China, 15 baht (about RMB in 3 yuan). After leaving the station, I rented an elder sister's tugboat to visit the ancient city, and chartered it for four hours (two people) for 600 baht, so that she took it to five or six famous scenic spots (Dacheng is the site of Dacheng Dynasty in Thailand, with many scenic spots) and went to the water market in the afternoon.

Suketai: I stayed in the new town for three nights and arrived in Suketai New Town in the early morning. I found a homestay nearby and the environment is very good. One in 80 yuan (and one in Northeast China, 40 yuan). There is a direct bus from Xincheng to the ancient city, and I stayed in the historical relics park for two days. This is the site of Sukhothai Dynasty, the first dynasty in Thailand, and it is a world heritage. It's big and there are few tourists. It is very suitable for leisure and holiday, and it is one of my favorite places in Thailand.

Phuket: I stayed at Patong Beach for four nights. On the first day, I wandered around. In the morning and evening, I went to Badong Beach near my accommodation. In the next few days, I rented a hotel motorcycle to go around the island. I went to several beaches in one day, and then I chose a beautiful rented sun chair to stay in (150-200 baht), or went swimming, and compared Kata and Karen Beach. I had dinner for two nights in Mid-Levels Restaurant, which had an excellent view overlooking the sea. I didn't watch the shemale show. I'm not interested in those. You can see transvestites everywhere in the street, and you dare not look directly at them.

Emperor Island: I stayed for two nights, participated in a one-day tour from Phuket to Emperor Island, and discussed with the tour guide to stay on the island for two nights, and then returned to the designated place to board the ship. In fact, this is a very small island, with several sunken ships. Getting off at that beach at night is suitable for watching the sunset and going to another beach in the morning is suitable for watching the sunrise. There is also a beach that is very suitable for snorkeling. 10 yuan can spend the whole morning snorkeling by renting equipment (if the guests staying in that hotel are free), and spend the rest of the time wandering around the island.

PP Island: Two nights. On the first day, take a one-day tour on a long-tailed boat (800 baht per boat). The next day, I climbed the mountain to see the panorama, strolled around, and sat on the beach drinking tea and watching the sunset.

Krabi Island: Two nights, living near the beach in southern Australia, watching the sunrise and sunset, lying in a daze on the beach (there are many trees on the beach here to shade the sun, and many local Thai tourists will lay a blanket under it for camping and picnicking). Compared with Phuket, Krabi is much quieter. There are not so many domestic tourists, but there are more tourists from Europe and America. There is a famous rock climbing beach in Krabi Island, but I didn't go because I wasn't interested.

Chiang Mai: Seven nights, one day of jungle leap, one day of climbing Su Tieshan to see the panoramic view of Chiang Mai, visiting Chiang Mai University, and the rest of the time visiting ancient cities, small streets, many temples, weekend markets, night markets, listening to stray singers singing in night squares and so on. The ancient city of Chiang Mai is not big, so you can walk around. I like mango glutinous rice in Chiang Mai Night Market very much. It costs 300 baht (the stall is cheaper and the store is more expensive). It's delicious.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) Thailand traffic guide It is suggested to use Google Maps in Thailand, and large places can basically be navigated.

1. It is recommended to take a taxi directly from the airport to the hotel or nearby (I usually find one or two China tourists to carpool at the airport or railway station, and basically all the young girls I find are of the same sex and age, so it is easy to communicate. If I ask more questions, there will always be the same way, and most of them are willing to share the cost.

You can walk directly from the mountain road in Bangkok to the Grand Palace, and you can take the bus and light rail in the market last weekend. Please consult the front desk of the hotel for details, because different accommodation places are different.

There are many beaches in Phuket, and most tourists will stay at Patong Beach. It is suggested to rent a motorcycle (or car) to go around the island and bask in the sun by the sea for two or three days. It's very cool to watch the sunset, have dinner and watch the night scene in Mid-Levels Restaurant.

4. Visit the ancient cities, temples and small streets in Chiang Mai. Visiting the night market on weekends is basically a walk. Go to Su Tieshan and Chiang Mai University (both in the same direction, which can be the same day) and carpool with inn tourists, jump in the jungle and have a car transfer.

Six, Thailand travel notes 1, sun protection: sunglasses, hats, high sun protection, it is recommended that girls bring bohemian style or white long skirts, taking pictures is very beautiful.

2. Visa: Thailand is now exempt from visa. It seems that landing visa is also exempt from signing in June 5438+ 10 next year, so you can just bring your passport (you can apply for visa exemption in China first if you are afraid of trouble in landing visa).

3. Currency exchange: You can withdraw money directly from the ATM of Thailand airport, as long as it is a card of China UnionPay.

4. Telephone cards: Telephone cards are sold at Thai airports (you can also buy them at Taobao in advance). I bought a happy card of DTAC, with unlimited traffic for 7 days, 1 month unlimited traffic package. After purchasing, I can ask the staff to help activate it.

5. Cash: I've always heard how much cash I need to bring into Thailand, but I didn't check it when I went, but I still brought 3,000 RMB.

6. Mosquito repellent: There are many mosquitoes in many places in Thailand. You can buy toilet water, mosquito repellent or local ones.

7. Bangkok tugboats can bargain boldly as long as they are within a reasonable price range, because many drivers will charge exorbitant prices.
