Creative experience
Lin Dihuan: Expressing the classical heart with modern tools.
Xiao Lin is his screen name, formerly known as Lin Dihuan. This young photographer in his thirties is very popular on the Internet recently, and many media have reported his travel photography experience. People pay more attention to his humanistic photography. Kobayashi did take many excellent photos of humanism, but it is also worth paying attention to his photography of everything in the world, including scenery. For example, the quiet and elegant films in his new book "Time Reflects Painting-Twenty-four Solar Terms in the Lens" let people see the aesthetic feelings of the farming society.
Talking about this kind of film, Kobayashi talked about his understanding of landscape photography. He said that in the past few years, there was a great criticism of landscape photography, and cultural circles generally attached importance to humanistic photography, thinking that landscape photography was divorced from reality, stereotyped, lacking innovation and realistic care, hurting national vitality and could be abandoned. In fact, landscape photography is often something more "China", because the philosophy of harmony between man and nature pursued in China's traditional culture, coupled with harsh and cruel autocratic thought, led to the mainstream of China painting after the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, and the landscape painting with rough brushwork, advocating antique and not thinking about innovation became the ink play of literati. This China spirit originated in the field of photography and became landscape photography. From this point of view, people who shoot landscapes do not hide silent protests against reality in their minds. Landscape photography is just a release for people to escape from the secular world.
It is precisely because of his profound understanding of this traditional culture that Kobayashi believes that landscape photography is definitely not a simple natural scenery, but a relationship between man and nature. "Fortunately, I didn't come to this mountain alone." Even if there were no people in the landscape photo, the photographer's choice of a mountain and a tree revealed the unique understanding of the interaction between man and nature. For a person who has no knowledge of Buddhist culture, it is hard to imagine that he can shoot Zhang Fu's Zen works.
The word Zen is indeed the rich temperament of most photos in this book "Time Pictures-Twenty-four Solar Terms in the Lens", with both words and pictures. Take this one for example: Some dead leaves in the picture seem to be out of focus on purpose. It seems that the place where they fall is not the ground, but the rice paper. This simple photo has a distant taste, just as the author wrote: "The ginkgo tree in Zhang Jingjiang's former residence/yard in Baoshishan, Hangzhou has been planted for hundreds of years/I wonder if it was planted by the owner himself/the leaves fell on the white canvas canopy/whizzed gently/then flipped gently/the sound seemed to come from the distant Republic of China."
The picture has ancient meaning, and the poem with it has haiku style.
Kobayashi said that the 24 solar terms in the time picture are just a carrier. In fact, he just wants to write down the trivial details of his life. It is the memories of these details that make up our life, perhaps dull but rich. So, this is not an album. The appearance of photos in the book is only used to awaken memories and return to the old times.
Xiao Lin's lifestyle is also very old.
He likes hiking. He said that he would often go to another part of the city by bus, and then he began to walk a small street. This is especially true when going to a strange city.
When the reporter wrote this report, Xiaolin was taking part in a photography activity in Nanning. He wrote in Weibo, "Every time I go to a strange city, I am used to walking through the city once, so I won't get lost next time, so I have walked about 100 cities. It is sunny in Nanning today, and I am going to spend a day walking vertically. Baidu map tells me that the whole journey is about 15 km. "
There is never a shortage of tourists in a hurry on the great rivers and mountains, but do we need such observers who measure every street and alley in the city with their feet?
He loves Chinese calligraphy and spends an hour or two practicing calligraphy every day. Huang Yongyu once mentioned in his prose that it takes a whole morning for Master Hongyi to write banners, while Kobayashi has such a quiet and slow mood when writing. It seems that he is not practicing Chinese characters, but practicing that short time forgotten by modern life.
Poetic life is on the road
◆ Traveler files
Name: Lin Dihuan (Kobayashi)
Gender: male
Identity: University teacher, freelance photographer, columnist.
Kobayashi is now working in the IT field. He shares his knowledge and ideas about photography, travel and the city he lives in with others through his website "Digital Survival". There is a self-introduction of "Xiao Lin" written by him, so that people who have just met can see the big boy's interest. "Xiao Lin, surnamed Lin, from Zhanjiang, Guangdong, 1975, now lives in Guangzhou. Don't be too tall, too heavy, and not too handsome. I studied clinical medicine in college, and after graduation, I transferred to administrative management. Now I am engaged in it. My life has been bumpy, I have accomplished nothing, and I am often down and out. I like taking photos, drawing, writing, designing, fishing and walking aimlessly when I have nothing to do. All in all, this fellow is more skilled at playing than at work, and he is more skilled at wandering around when he is idle. "
In fact, Kobayashi's hobby is not just "doing nothing". He likes traveling and photography, and now he is a photographer and travel columnist in many newspapers and magazines. In 2007, he also published "A Classic Tour of Guangzhou", and the images recorded during his trip also made him participate in the film festival of Perfect China. In 2009, he exhibited his works in Beijing 798 Art District and Pingyao Photography Festival.
Travel, live elsewhere
Like most people, Xiao Lin likes to travel. He likes to experience the feeling of life elsewhere. In his view, in a strange place, knowing the thoughts and feelings of people living elsewhere, their emotions, their values, can impact and confirm their own thinking and values. This is a way to gain wisdom, and it can also improve their life height. There is no detailed travel plan, only the approximate destination and time are delineated, and not too much preparation will be made, expecting the variables and accidents in the journey. Kobayashi's trip is more suitable for hiking or wandering. Distance, like the future, contains great unknowns, which attracts him to start again and again.
Nowadays, walking has become a part of his life, and he will be ready to move when he has a little leisure. Photography and painting gave him many excuses to travel. He always set out alone, and he will meet many interesting people and things on his journey, and he will also gain a lot of friendship and sincerity. Sometimes he records them with a camera, sometimes he doesn't. "These feelings are silently chewed, far away, and always get a lot of meaning in life, which can't be realized in the boring work and endless personnel disputes day after day." Photography and painting have made him know many like-minded friends from all over the world, and meeting and chatting with them during the trip is also one of the pleasures of travel.
In the past two years, Kobayashi has traveled in some ordinary and unknown cities, such as Dayi, Sichuan, Yulin, Shaanxi, Qianjiang, Hubei, Changde, Hunan and so on. China's economic development is amazing, which leads to the amazing homogenization of major cities. He always hopes to find and record some primitive temperament and charm of these cities in the tide of urbanization, and also hopes to record the development process and context of our time. In this process, he clearly felt the huge emotional conflicts of China people, such as nostalgia, loss, great changes and loss. "Recording the disappearing scenery and culture, as well as such great changes, is my greatest motivation. This special topic about China's realistic record was originally named Perfect China by Kobayashi. As for what kind of theme will be filmed in the end, he is completely unclear. " The future is always changeable and unknown, which is also the driving force that attracts me to keep shooting. "
In the new year, he intends to change his way. "Just find a train that is about to leave and get off at a distant station at will, so that unknown and unfamiliar places will probably get more surprises and experiences."
Grow old with Guangzhou
Although not from Guangzhou, Kobayashi has been in this city for more than ten years from studying to working, and has developed inseparable feelings. In Kobayashi's view, although the natural beauty of the city is not too much, it will be a bit messy and complicated. But her tolerant, peaceful, open and low-key temperament will make people addicted to it if she stays for a long time. The fast-paced lifestyle with modern sense and strong Lingnan traditional style is worth tasting and appreciating. She is a city that can grow old with us. So after work, Kobayashi likes to "sweep the street" and record the history and present of the city with a lens. There are old overseas Chinese villages, Dongshankou in the sunset and quiet time on the sand surface. He once traveled to almost every corner of Guangzhou in the afternoon sunshine, depicting the details of the city with cameras and pens, and finally gathered into a book "Classic Tour of Guangzhou" to lead readers to appreciate the ten thousand customs of this bustling city.
In Kobayashi's view, Yide Road is the place that best represents Guangzhou style. It is located in the hinterland of Xiguan in the old city of Guangzhou. This is a professional market for dry seafood, gifts and stationery, toys and snacks. It is crowded with people, but it runs spontaneously in the chaos. In the meantime, you can feel the strong vitality of Guangzhou as a business capital for thousands of years and the positive and optimistic struggle spirit of Guangzhou people. Walking here, you can find many good and cheap things. There is also the most spectacular Catholic church in Guangzhou on Yide Road. The solemnity of religion goes hand in hand with the noise of the street, and it is also a landscape with Guangzhou flavor. Adjacent to Yide Road, Shangxiajiu, Haizhu Square, Jiang Yan Road and Enning Road are all places with Guangzhou characteristics, which are worth visiting carefully.
Another recommendation of Kobayashi is Shamian, where the old concession is located. There are many European style buildings and trees. The most prosperous area of the Pearl River flows slowly here, and the environment is elegant and suitable for walking slowly. It is a very small and comfortable place in Guangzhou. Sometimes there will be folk Cantonese opera troupes performing in Shamian, small cafes along the Pearl River at sunset, and popular food stalls when the lights are shining, all of which can be found here.
My hometown Guangdong is a good place.
Not only in Guangzhou, but also in Lingnan. Under his lens, "Walking Clouds in Guangdong" is a river as light as ink painting, a playful child and a yellow dog in the ancient village of Yangchi, a rich color in late autumn in northern Guangdong, a fishing fire in Guishan Port, a lively wedding in the countryside, and the back of Tian Tou in early spring and March. In Kobayashi's eyes, Guangdong is really a good place with a wide variety. The young man who came out of the seaside fishing village always has an inexplicable attachment to life by the sea. Every time he returns to his hometown, he always feels peaceful.
In Guangdong, Kobayashi recommended his hometown, Wuyang, Wuchuan, Zhanjiang, where there are endless white beaches, simple fishermen's work, strong western Guangdong customs and many beautiful seafood dishes. In addition, there are Wanshan Islands in Zhuhai, which are isolated islands. The fisherman's life at sunrise and sunset gives people a feeling of indifference, and it is also his favorite travel destination.

Be selected to take the college entrance examination
On the first day of the 20 19 college entrance examination, as soon as the Chinese exam was over, the topic of composition immediately triggered a hot discussion among netizens. Among them, the composition topic of the third national volume is comics, and the comic scene is the last lesson before graduation. The teacher said to the students, "You read your book again, and I'll read you again."
This cartoon is based on the works of Kobayashi comics, and Lin Dihuan is the person in charge of Kobayashi comics. Lin Dihuan said that he was surprised that his work was chosen as the composition topic for the college entrance examination. When asked about the original author's own interpretation of this essay topic, Lin Dihuan said that the cartoon itself simply and purely expresses the deep feelings between teachers and students. Lin Dihuan revealed that the prototype of the teacher in the cartoon is Li Guangning, a high school class teacher and English teacher.
June 7th, 20 19 is the first day of the college entrance examination. In the newly published national three-language exam, an ink cartoon of "The Last Class Before Graduation" by Lin Dihuan, a teacher of Sun Yat-sen University, was adapted into the only material composition topic.
