If you like camping, you can go to guanyin temple tent camp first, and then go to Jinding after sunrise the next day. Travels of Wugong Mountain In May this year, I completed my seventh trip to Wugong Mountain while the residents of this province were still free of charge. This trip is mainly for the starry sky plank road. This plank road is 2888 meters long and 2 meters wide, of which the glass plank road is about 300 meters long. It is built on the cliff between Diaomazhang and guanyin temple at an altitude of 1 600 meters. It is like a ribbon, winding between thousands of cliffs. It is magnificent, claiming to be the longest and highest elevated plank road in China at present.

Before going out, I booked tickets and tents on the official account of Wugongshan WeChat (tickets and accommodation strategies will be introduced in detail in the next section), and then packed my backpack as needed. Considering the changeable weather on the mountain, I brought a raincoat and an umbrella. It's windy and cold in the mountains at night, so I brought clothes and clothes. Add charging treasure, herbal cream, paper towels, sleeping bags and water cups, all packed and officially set off.

After lunch, I went out and waited for the bus to Wugong Mountain at the South Bus Station in the city. Due to the epidemic, there are fewer buses going to Wugong Mountain than usual. When I arrived at the tourist center at the foot of the mountain, it was about 3 pm. I was a little dizzy when I passed the Shankouyan Reservoir (it may be a slight carsickness or a precursor to heatstroke), which shows that my trip to Wugong Mountain is more tired than before. After arriving at the visitor center, I went to the shopping mall canteen to replenish some glucose water and a small bag of ginger, and bought two boxes of self-heating rice for dinner. The food on the top of the mountain is not cheap. I spent the night in a tent and bought a lunch box for dinner. It was 30 yuan, which was a bit unpalatable. If you stay in a hotel, dinner is ok. The last time you stayed in a hotel was at Tiehoof Peak, and that dinner was at 40 yuan.

Then go to the visitor center to pick up the tickets. The staff told the local staff without tickets that they don't need to pick up the tickets, just swipe their ID cards directly. Out of the tourist center, put on a mask, get on the transfer bus, and arrive at the gate of Wugong Mountain in ten minutes.

At that time, I looked at the mountain and there were large clouds. I am full of joy and look forward to meeting the sea of clouds the next day. Behind the mountain gate is Shigu Temple. I have been there before, so I won't go this time. Couplets are engraved on the gatehouse.

However, I heard that there will be a chance to meet macaques along Haomen Slope, but I have never met them every time I passed through Monkey Valley before, so I decided to continue up along Haomen Slope.

If you are in good condition when you go down the mountain, go to Fuxing Valley Plank Road again.

The hiking trail of Haohanpo is a bit steep, but it is far from the desperate slope of Huangshan Mountain, which abused me last year (by the way, the hiking trail of Mingyue Mountain next door is much steeper than this), and before you know it, it will reach 7000 steps.

Tourists and friends can roughly judge the time required according to the XXXX step sign on the hiking trail on the road.

At half past eight in the evening, I finally entered the rented tent. I'm so tired that I don't even want to take a shower. I just lie down and sleep. There were no stars that night, and I fell asleep the next day with the expectation of the sea of clouds.

I woke up at about 5: 20 the next day. After a simple wash, I found a place to wait for the sunrise in Baihefeng. At 5: 40, the sky is still beautiful.

Unfortunately, it ran too fast and it was dark around, so I didn't have time to take pictures of it.

In terms of transportation, Pingxiang Railway Station and high-speed railway station all have shuttle buses to Wugong Mountain. The former fares about 22 yuan, the latter about 27 yuan. The journey starts at 1 hour.
