General situation of Dengzhou community neighborhood Committee

[Administrative Subordination and Traffic Location] Dengzhou Community was formed by the integration of the original Dengzhou neighborhood committee and the original Xinrong neighborhood committee's seven natural villages, namely Dahuai, Xinjie, Dingrong, Houtian, Xin 'an, Neihu and Gouhou, in June 2002. It is adjacent to Dengxing Community in the east, Linjiang Street in Licheng District in the west, Jiang Bin Road in the south and Baozhou Road in the north. [Community and residents] covers an area of about 0_6 square kilometers. The jurisdiction includes Quanzhou Port Authority, Municipal Waterway Bureau, Quanzhou Port Group Corporation, Donghai Hotel, Peak Group Corporation, Meizhou Bay South Bank Water Supply Company and other community units, as well as Dahuai, Xinjie, Dingrong, Houtian, Xin 'an, Neihu, Gouhou, Nanfeng New City, Dengzhou Commercial City, Baozhou Garden and power supply, taxation, hydrology, teachers, port services, petroleum, shipping, Jiangnan. There are 18 residents' groups in the community, with 7 165 permanent residents and 724 migrants. There are 9 members of the two committees of the community, 3 staff members and 7 members of the community party branch party member1/kloc-0.

[Community Style] Since the community integration in May 2002, the Dengzhou Community Neighborhood Committee has always adhered to the people-oriented principle, centered on the goal of building a harmonious socialist society, and in accordance with the overall requirements of the district Committee of "striving to promote' three priority developments', building' four service centers', and building our district into a modern industrialized science, industry, trade and cultural tourist area". After several years of efforts, it has successively won provincial-level science popularization demonstration community, advanced unit of ideological and political work in the district, and so on.

[History and Culture] Dengzhou Community Area is located in the southwest of Quanzhou and was once the ninth pier in Quanzhou. Quanzhou is a famous historical and cultural city and the birthplace of the Maritime Silk Road. Pier 9 was a prosperous port in Quanzhou in the old days, and all countries had to go in and out of the port to do business, extending in all directions. Today, the office building of Port Group Company is next to the community office.

[Architectural Landscape] Seven natural villages in the jurisdiction still retain the traditional ancient buildings in southern Fujian, among which the "Three Carvings" landscape of the ancestral hall in Dahuai Village is still vivid. Due to the need of the south extension of Tianan Road, it has been demolished. The Jinlian Temple in Houtian Village retains the traditional temple structure and is quite spectacular.

[Product Economy] Baozhou Road is a furniture street in Quanzhou with developed commerce and trade. It is the transportation hub of Quanzhou, and the traffic is very prosperous. Now the community takes the opportunity of the reconstruction of the south extension of Tianan Road and the area to draw a blueprint for the future of Dengzhou community.

There are China Fujian-Taiwan Border Museum, Quanzhou Museum, Quanzhou East Lake Park, Lingxiu Tiandi Creative Park, Quanzhou Forest Park and other tourist attractions near Dengzhou Community, and there are special products such as Shihua Ointment, Quanzhou Runbing, Potato Sugar, Shizhen Cake and Quanzhou Oyster Fried.
