Qingcheng Mountain

Located in the southwest of Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, it is one of the birthplaces of Taoism in China. It is a famous Taoist mountain and a national 5A-level scenic spot. In 2000, both Dujiangyan and Dujiangyan were included in the World Heritage List as a world cultural heritage. Laoxiaoding, the main peak of Qingcheng Mountain, is 1,260 meters above sea level. The whole mountain has verdant trees, evergreen all year round, and is surrounded by peaks that look like a city outline, hence the name Qingcheng Mountain. Among the famous mountains in Sichuan, it is as famous as the danger of Jianmen, the beauty of Emei and the hero of Kuimen. It has the reputation of "Qingcheng is quiet in the world". Qingcheng Mountain is divided into front and back mountains. The front mountain is the main part of the Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area, covering an area of ??about 15 square kilometers, with beautiful scenery and numerous cultural relics and historic sites. The main attractions include Jianfu Palace, Natural Pictures, Tianshi Cave, Chaoyang Cave, Zushi Palace, Shangqing Palace, etc.; the total area of ??the back mountain is 100 square kilometers, with beautiful water, secluded forests, and majestic mountains, it is unattainable. Going straight up, it is very cold in winter and extremely cool in summer. It is a wonder. The main attractions are Jinbi Tiancang, Notre Dame Cave, Mountain Spring Fog Pool, and White Clouds. Cave groups, overpass wonders, etc.

Since ancient times, people have used the word "secluded" to summarize the characteristics of Qingcheng Mountain. Qingcheng Mountain is surrounded by greenery, with peaks, valleys, palaces and temples all hidden among the lush green trees. The Taoist temples and pavilions are made of natural materials without artificial carvings and are integrated with the mountains, forests, rocks and springs, reflecting the Taoist style of advocating simplicity and nature.

The tranquility of Qingcheng has been highly praised by literati in the past dynasties. Du Fu, the "Poetry Saint" of the Tang Dynasty, came to Qingcheng Mountain and wrote, "I am a guest in Qingcheng, and I do not spit on Qingcheng. For the love of my father-in-law, the mountains are close to the tranquility." Good sentences. Around 1940, the contemporary Chinese painting master Zhang Daqian and his family lived in the Qing Palace on Qingcheng Mountain. He searched for hidden places, splashed ink to clear up the colors, and created more than a thousand pieces. He also carved seals and called himself "Qingcheng Guest". In the 1960s, Zhang Daqian painted the huge "Complete Picture of Qingcheng Mountain" in Sao Paulo, Brazil, far away from the ocean, for himself and his family to travel. In his later years, he said: "Looking at the mountains makes my hometown green again", "Now I can paint but I can't go back". I have been full of nostalgia for the fairy mountains in my hometown Qingcheng throughout my life.

Qingcheng Mountain is also characterized by three natural wonders: sunrise, sea of ??clouds and holy lanterns. Among them, the holy lamp (also known as the magic lamp) is particularly peculiar. Shangqing Palace is the best viewing place to watch the holy lantern. Every summer when the sky is clear after rain, when night falls, you can see the bright lights in the mountains flickering and floating in the Holy Lantern Pavilion near Shangqing Palace. Sometimes there are three or five lights, which suddenly appear and die, and sometimes there are hundreds or even thousands, and the valley is illuminated for a while. Ruoxinghan.

Arrival and departure: Qingcheng Mountain is 68 kilometers away from Chengdu and 16 kilometers away from Dujiangyan City. As a famous tourist attraction, its transportation is very convenient and the road traffic is good. Tourists from outside the province can first go to Chengdu, and then take a shuttle bus or high-speed rail from Chengdu to Qingcheng Mountain. Chengdu's Shuangliu Airport has buses to Dujiangyan, and the North Railway Station has high-speed rail directly to Qingcheng Mountain. It is located on Wuhou Temple Street, South Gate, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is an ancestral hall commemorating Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period of China. It is the only ancestral temple in China where monarchs and ministers jointly worship and the most famous memorial site for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and Shu Han heroes. It is also the most influential Three Kingdoms relics museum in the world. The "Stele of the Ancestral Hall of Prime Minister Zhuge Wuhou of Shu", known as the "Three Wonders" in writing, calligraphy and engraving, is the most famous.

Chengdu Wuhou Temple is divided into three parts: cultural relics area, garden area and Jinli area. The entire Wuhou Temple faces south. The main building gate, the second gate, the Han Zhaolie Temple, the hall, and the five buildings of Wuhou Temple are strictly arranged on a central axis from south to north. Liu Bei Hall is the tallest and has the most majestic architecture. Behind Wuhou Temple there are Sanyi Temple, Jieyi Tower and other buildings. The cultural relics area is mainly composed of three parts: Huiling, Han Zhaolie Temple and Wuhou Temple. The existing main buildings of the temple (except Huiling) were all rebuilt in the 11th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1672 AD). They face north and south and are arranged on a central axis. On the top, there are the main gate, the second gate, Han Zhaolie Temple, Guoting Hall, Wuhou Temple, the relocated Sanyi Temple and the newly built Jieyi Building, the seventh floor. The temple enshrines more than 50 statues of Shu Han heroes such as Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang, more than 50 inscriptions from the Tang and later generations, and more than 70 plaques and couplets. The "Three Unique Steles" of the Tang Dynasty and the "Heart Attack" Couplet of the Qing Dynasty are the most famous.

In December 2003, the original southern suburbs of Chengdu Park were merged into the Wuhou Temple Garden Area. Nanjiao Park was originally the cemetery of Liu Xiang, Chairman of Sichuan Province during the Republic of China and Commander-in-Chief of the Seventh War Zone during the Anti-Japanese War. It was built from 1938 to 1942, with a 400-meter central axis running from north to south, including the stone archway gate, three-hole gate, square pavilion, Jianxin hall, tomb chamber, etc., with a rigorous layout, majestic and solemn layout, and is the only northern cemetery building complex in the southwest. . In the development plan of Wuhou Temple, the West District will be built into a communication and experience center for the culture of the Three Kingdoms. The "Jinli" ancient street, which is now adjacent to Wuhou Temple, was rebuilt with funds from the Chengdu Wuhou Temple Museum and is now a "National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base".

As part of the Wuhou Temple Museum (Three Kingdoms Historical Relics Area, Jinli Folklore Area, and West District), Jinli covers an area of ??more than 30,000 square meters, with a construction area of ??more than 14,000 square meters, and a total street length of 550 meters. The architecture is based on the Sichuan residential style in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, and the content is based on the culture of the Three Kingdoms and Sichuan traditional folk culture. Jinli was officially opened to the public in October 2004; its extension was opened in January 2009. An ancient town on the water in Western Sichuan with a long history and rich cultural heritage. One of the top ten ancient water towns, it is located in the southern part of the Chengdu Plain, 40 kilometers away from the urban area of ??Chengdu, at the intersection of Fu River and Luxi River in the southwest of Shuangliu County. Won the "Most Beautiful Ancient Town in Sichuan" award in 2011, it has a history of more than 1,700 years and is a tourist-oriented landscape town with strong characteristics. The Qing Dynasty-style street and shop buildings here are still well preserved. The streets paved with bluestone slabs, the pavilions and houses with wooden pillars and green tiles, and the exquisitely carved railings and window lattice all give people a simple and peaceful feeling. There are also 6 yellow horn trees in the town that are more than 300 years old. Their lush branches and leaves cover the sky and the sun, adding a lot of aura to the ancient town.

Three ancient temples, Zhenjiang Temple, Chaoyin Temple and Gulong Temple, are still preserved in the town. The annual temple fairs held on the ninth day of the sixth lunar month and the ninth day of the ninth lunar month can still recreate the noisy scenes of the ancient town of Yang in the past. The reason why the ancient town of Huanglongxi is favored by tourists is that it not only has beautiful mountains and clear waters, but is free from the hustle and bustle of big cities; it is also because of the winding ancient stone paths, the wooden stilted buildings with cornices by the river, and the teahouses and shops on the streets. The lingering green smoke in the ancient temple shows a picture of the folk customs of Sichuan towns, giving people a simple and novel feeling.

Which one is more fun, Chengdu or Chongqing? What's the difference?

Chongqing is a mountain city that is more lively and exciting, while Chengdu is relatively quiet and gentle. Personally, I think Chongqing is more fun. Chongqing’s tourist attractions include: Hongya Gate, Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges, and Nanshan Yishu. The famous tourist attractions in Chengdu include: Jinli, Wuhou Temple, Dujiangyan, and Giant Panda Base.

1. Hongyamen, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, is built along the mountain and cliff with its "diaojiaolou" style, which is the most traditional architectural feature of Bayu. The unique "three-dimensional sky pedestrian street" creates the characteristics of a mountain city where the roads are all the way out from the 11th and 1st floors. It is a good place to visit the Diaojiaolou complex, watch the dripping green cliffs, visit the old streets of the mountain city, appreciate the Bayu culture, watch the confluence of the two rivers, and taste delicious food from all over the world.

2. Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges is a typical karst landform. The uncanny workmanship of nature is very spectacular and shocking. The three bridges are Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge and Black Dragon Bridge. From the sightseeing elevator entrance to the bottom of the first Tianlong Bridge, you can directly see Tianfu Guanyi.

The tour route is a one-way route, and there is no exit going back. There is a lot of hiking in the scenic area, so it is best to wear comfortable shoes.

3. The Giant Panda Breeding Research Institute completely simulates the wild living environment of giant pandas, with lakes, streams, bamboo forests, lawns, etc., and houses more than 100 giant pandas.

There is a giant panda museum near the gate, where you can send postcards with panda postmarks from the Panda Country Post Office, and you can also watch documentaries about giant pandas in the cinema. In addition to giant pandas, you can also see black-necked cranes, peacocks, herons and other small animals. In the Moon Delivery Room, you can sometimes see newborn red pandas.

The pleasant climate, profound history and rich products make Chengdu a quiet, leisurely and interesting tourist place. As one of the famous historical and cultural cities in my country, Chengdu has rich tourism resources. Zuo Si, a poet of the Jin Dynasty more than 1,500 years ago, sincerely called it "both admirable and beautiful". Both the "Poetry Immortal" Li Bai and the "Poetry Saint" Du Fu have eulogized this unique city with infinite affection. Indeed, Chengdu is a city that is both peaceful and prosperous, with profound cultural heritage and beautiful natural environment.

If it were me, I would prefer to choose Chengdu. Chengdu has old alleys, teahouses, and a lot of delicious food. Of course, there are no fewer beauties than Chongqing. There are more famous attractions and more cultural heritage. There are also many hypermarkets.

I also grew up by the sea, but I am from the seaside of Fujian. I prefer Chengdu.

Question 10: Which one is more fun to go to now, Chongqing or Chengdu? I am a Chongqing native, to be honest

Economy-Chengdu is stronger.

Although Chongqing is developing, it is still lagging behind, because at least Chengdu has been developing for a long time, probably because it is the provincial capital.

Humanities--I can't explain this clearly.

Some people say that Chongqing people are upright and Chengdu people are fake, but others say that Chongqing people are fiery and Chengdu people are gentle. I remember someone from Chengdu said: I would rather listen to the people in Chengdu quarreling than listen to the people in Chongqing talking. But I would rather listen to the people in Chongqing talking than the people in Chengdu quarreling. That sound is really tiring to hear (it doesn’t mean anything in particular)

The regional radiation power - Chengdu should be better.

Because Chongqing has just begun to develop, the management and development of districts and counties are still weak. Moreover, when Chongqing was divided into municipalities directly under the Central Government, several relatively poor counties in Sichuan were basically separated.

Degree of modernization--Chongqing

Chengdu is proud of its ancient style. Moreover, the famous Chunxi Road in Chengdu feels better than the Sanxia Square in Shangshapingba. There are many luxury buildings in Chongqing, including high-rise buildings. Although there are still many shortcomings, which city does not have such shortcomings? Generally speaking, it should feel more modern.

Development speed--Chongqing

It is precisely because it is lagging behind that it has greater room for development. The development of Chengdu has been relatively stable and saturated. Chongqing is a new city, so there are more development opportunities, so the development speed will be faster.
