How to get to Kinmen Kinmen Traffic Guide

Jinmen is an island county located in Xiamen Bay, which is under the jurisdiction of Taiwan Province Province. Kinmen has many war sites, a long history and beautiful natural scenery. Let's introduce how to go to Kinmen by Xiaobian. Come and have a look.

How to get to Jinmen?

From the mainland, you can take a boat to Kinmen at Wu Tong Wharf in Xiamen and Shijing Wharf (Jin Quan Wharf) in Quanzhou. Considering that there were many passengers at Wu Tong Pier in Xiamen during the Spring Festival, I took a boat at Jin Quan Pier. On weekdays, I personally suggest starting from Xiamen, with more boats, faster time and less time.

After arriving in Quanzhou, I bought a ticket to Nan 'an at Quanzhou Bus Terminal. There is no specific boarding time for this ticket. Starting at 7: 00 a.m. (during Spring Festival travel rush), tickets can be collected by ticket before 4: 30 p.m..

Drive about 1 hour to Nan 'an, get off and walk 1 km to Jin Quan Wharf.

It is recommended to buy tickets in advance, and there are many online channels. You should arrive at the dock one hour in advance to exchange tickets. During the Spring Festival, the number of tourists here is not very large, and you can also buy tickets on the spot. 1 hour to Jinmen Shuitou Wharf. It should be noted that on the day of my departure, all the flights were postponed because of the fog. The 8: 30 flight was delayed for two hours. You'd better check the weather before you go out. Generally speaking, this situation may be more in February and March.

After the tour, there is a k207 bus at the entrance of Jin Quan Wharf returning to Quanzhou.

Necessary documents, such as entry permit and deposit certificate, are convenient and quick to handle, and there are many methods, so I won't go into details here.

Transportation and accommodation on the island

Jinmen Island is only 70 kilometers around the island. Although the area is small, the scenic spots are scattered and it is more troublesome to play. You can charter a bus to the island or take a fixed-time tour bus, but I still suggest renting an electric car to play. The time and route can be controlled by yourself. There is a car rental company near Shuitou Wharf, or you can contact the hotel owner for car rental. The car rental company will remind you that you can only ride an electric car, and you will be fined if you are found by the police. However, many locals actually ride bicycles, including motorcycles. You can consider this for yourself.

Battery cars can travel 1 10 km with full charge, and each car is equipped with two batteries. Every car rental company has several stores to replace the batteries for tourists free of charge, so as to master the lines and power, and there will be no power outage in the middle.

There are many homestays and hotels on the island, and all major tourist platforms can make reservations, but please be sure to use Google Maps to find the address of accommodation in advance and calculate the distance between scenic spots and accommodation. It is not recommended to live in a remote place. I live in Kinmen this time. Although it is not too far, it is nearly 5 kilometers away from Jincheng Town and 20 kilometers away from some scenic spots. Although it is convenient to ride an electric car, the road is quite crowded at night. This is a small island with few people, and it is difficult to see cars and pedestrians on most roads. The roads connecting towns are even more sparsely populated. During the Spring Festival, country roads seem to be eroded by night, and shops along the way disappear into the night. Only street lamps illuminate the road, which is terribly lonely.
