Fifty-fourth supervision and inspection and handling results shall be made public according to law and subject to public inspection and supervision.

Article 55 When the competent department of urban and rural planning investigates and deals with acts that violate the provisions of this Law, if it finds that the staff of state organs should be given administrative sanctions according to law, it shall put forward suggestions on punishment to its appointment and removal organ or supervisory organ.

Article 56 Where administrative punishment should be given according to the provisions of this Law but the competent department of urban and rural planning does not, the competent department of urban and rural planning of the people's government at a higher level has the right to order it to make a decision on administrative punishment or suggest that the relevant people's government order it to give administrative punishment.

Article 57 Where the competent department of urban and rural planning makes an administrative license in violation of the provisions of this Law, the competent department of urban and rural planning of the people's government at a higher level has the right to order it to be revoked or directly revoke it. If the revocation of an administrative license causes losses to the legitimate rights and interests of the parties concerned, compensation shall be paid according to law.
