The rescue was completed five days after the accident. The direct cause of the hotel's collapse this time is that the original four floors were illegally added with mezzanine, and seven floors were built, which made the lower part overwhelmed and always on the verge of collapse. In addition, before the collapse, the bottom supporting steel bars were illegally welded, which destroyed the stability of steel columns and led to the decline of the ultimate bearing capacity of buildings.
