The cuisines in Wanxiu District include Wuzhou sausage, raw fried snail, Shuangqian Guiling paste, Wuzhou rice flour, Wuzhou boat porridge and so on.
1, Wuzhou sausage: it refers to the meat products made of meat as raw materials, which are cut, twisted into dices, supplemented by auxiliary materials, stuffed into animal casings, fermented, matured and dried. The representative product "Dragon Boat" sausage includes Dragon Boat brand bacon and bacon series products.
2. Fried snails: It is one of Wuzhou snacks. After cleaning the live snails, remove a little snail tail to eat. Then add garlic paste, Jiang Mo, lobster sauce, perilla and a little pepper or pepper, stir-fry until it is nearly cooked, add pork bone soup and cook until the snail is fragrant, and eat it while it is hot. Snail meat is fresh and sweet, and snail soup is delicious
3. Shuangqian Guiling Ointment: Shuangqian Guiling Ointment is a traditional medicinal diet with a long history in Wuzhou. According to legend, it was originally a precious medicinal material of the Qing emperor. It is mainly made of precious chickpea and Smilax glabra as raw materials, and then refined with drugs such as Radix Rehmanniae. It is gentle and suitable for all ages.
4. Wuzhou river powder: River powder is also called "soup powder" and "friends powder". It is mainly made of flat rice noodles, supplemented by braised pork such as lean beef brisket, a proper amount of seasoning and a little green vegetables, and boiled with pork bone soup. The meat in the rice noodles is delicious and can be heard from a distance.
5. Wuzhou boat porridge: Speaking of boat porridge, it is one of the famous traditional snacks in Wuzhou. Wuzhou is known as the "water market", and many residents take boats as their rooms, so the service industry for boat people came into being, hence the name of this porridge. At first, it was mainly sold by boat people rocking boats in the river in the morning and evening, and later it was widely operated on river banks and land, and has been introduced to Beihai, Nanning and other places. Nowadays, boat porridge with very good workmanship is rare, not to mention it is sold in the river and can only be eaten in teahouses and hotels. Boat porridge is mainly cooked with fresh river shrimp or fish fillets. Later, jellyfish, peanuts, floating skin and chopped green onion were added, and chicken and duck meat, lean meat and animal offal were also added, which was delicious.
