About the route

After about three hours' flight, we finally landed in the beautiful land of abundance around 1 1.30 on the 23rd. After picking up the luggage, we went straight to the subway station of Shuangliu Airport Terminal 2.

It is worth mentioning that there is no direct subway from the airport to the Chengdu Auto Show-China West International Expo City Exhibition Hall, and the whole route is similar to a "U" shape. Therefore, due to the detour, the journey takes about 1.5 hours, but considering the unfamiliar situation, the subway is still the most convenient and reliable travel tool.

During the auto show, the supply of nearby hotels is always the most tense. Although we have booked online in advance, it seems that we misjudged the fiery degree of Chengdu Auto Show and had to settle in the urban area.

We chose to stay at the first Marriott Hotel in Chengdu. Although it is located in the urban area and has a certain distance from the exhibition hall, considering that it is close to the subway 1 line and counting the time from the hotel to the subway station, the distance less than 1 hour is also acceptable.

If you are sure to come to Chengdu Auto Show, then accommodation must be the first consideration. My suggestion is to try to find a hotel close to the exhibition hall during the exhibition. After all, going to the auto show is a physical activity, and the shorter you come back, the better.

Arrive at Xibocheng Station (Exit D) or Guangzhou Road Station (Exit F) of Metro 1 Line, and then arrive near Hall 16, where the entrance of this auto show is. If you plan to go by car, you can navigate to the Expo City in the west of China. There are many parking spaces in Xibo City and nearby temporary parking areas. Officials suggest parking in underground D area and South Square.

As a media, we have applied for a media card online in advance. Come to the "Media Registration" office, give your ID card to the staff, and you can immediately change it into a media card. Next to it is the "ticket center", but it was not open on the 23rd.

It should be noted that a QR code of "Tianfu Health Link" needs to be scanned at the entrance of the ticket gate, and personal information should be filled in according to the above requirements. After that, the staff will scan the code to confirm before entering.

About ticket purchase and price

Chengdu Auto Show has a wide range of ticket purchasing channels. In addition to booking tickets on designated sales websites or official WeChat "Chengdu International Auto Show", you can also book tickets on official platforms such as "Chengdu International Auto Show" in Weibo, barley net, Tianfutong APP, Ferris wheel, and Bili Bili.

In terms of price, July 25-26 is the professional audience day, and the fare is 80 yuan; July 27th-August 2nd is the general audience day, and the ticket price is 60 yuan. It is worth mentioning that if you book the exhibition online before 24: 00 on July 24, you can enjoy a 15% discount, and you can buy tickets at full price from July 25 to August 2. Each mobile phone number can only buy four auto show tickets at most. 1 QR code tickets are limited to 1 person, which is valid for one entry and exit.
