Hospitality etiquette

There are guests at home. Do you know how to entertain them?

1. When the guest knocks at the door or the doorbell rings, you should promise as soon as possible and say "Come in" to the guest after opening the door.

When guests come in, they should stand up and give a warm welcome. If the house is not clean and tidy enough and looks messy, do some necessary tidying and apologize to the guests.

If you come to dinner, you should warmly invite the guests to dinner together. After dinner, guests should send hot towels and exchange tea.

When the guests come, if they happen to be unable to accompany them, they should say hello, apologize and arrange for their families to accompany them, and then go about their own business.

5. When drinking tea with guests, you must serve tea with both hands and put it on the right side of the guests.

6. When introducing a guest, you must first introduce the family members to the guest.

7. When the guests come back, keep them. Don't force the guests to stay if they insist on going back.

8. See the guests off at the gate and say "go slow" and "goodbye" when leaving.
