What are the scenic spots around Baoding?

Dacige was founded in the Jin Dynasty (A.D. 1227). Dacige ranks first among the "Eight Scenes in the Upper Valley" and has the reputation of "Lingxiao in the City Pavilion", which has become a symbol of Baoding, an ancient city. Therefore, there is a saying that "you have never been to Baoding before you reach Dacige". Dacige has been a Buddhist shrine since ancient times and is now a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Dacige is a group of temple buildings, named after its main building called Dacige.

2. Baoding ancient lotus pond

Located in the center of Baoding, a famous historical and cultural city, Gulian Huachi was founded at the turn of the Jin Yuan in A.D. 1227, formerly known as Xiang Xue Garden, with a history of nearly 800 years. It used to be the residence of Zhang Rou, a famous military general in the late Jin and early Yuan Dynasties.

It has experienced historical changes in folk, official, academy, court and public gardens, and is a national key cultural relics protection unit. With profound historical accumulation, it is one of the top ten gardens in China.

3. Baoding Bell Tower

Baoding Bell Tower, also known as Gu Mingshuang, is located in Yuhua Road, Baoding City, next to Dacige, and behind it is the Bell Tower Commercial Building. There is a clock hidden in the building. The clock is 2.55m in height, 2m in diameter and17cm in lip thickness. It was cast in the 21st year of Jin Dading (A.D. 1 18 1). According to the China Dictionary of Places of Interest, this clock is 203 years earlier than that of Xi 'an Bell Tower and 552 years earlier than that of Beijing Dazhong Temple.

4. Qinghe Road Department

Qinghe Road Department, located at No.3 Xinghua Road, Baoding City, is a well-preserved Qing Dynasty Daotai yamen in China, and is now a key cultural relic protection unit in Hebei Province. It was the first local government administrative organization in Qing Dynasty, and later became the residence of warlord Wang Zhanyuan. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, it became the military headquarters of the 28th Kuomintang Army.

The existing building area is1840m2. The building is well preserved and still retains the characteristics of the official residence in the late Qing Dynasty. Qinghe Road System is divided into East Road, Middle Road and West Road. Length of main axis in north-south direction160m.

5. Guangyuan

Guangyuan is located in the middle section of Yuhua Road, Baoding City, more than 300 meters away from the Museum of Zhili Governor's Office in the east and across the road from Gulianchi in the southeast. It is a special building with unique style and design, strict safety facilities, cleverly set up secret passages, and can meet special needs. It is also a garden-style building with flowers and trees.
