Zhanjiang Traditional Chinese Medicine School is located in the beautiful coastal city of Zhanjiang. It is a national key secondary vocational school and a bureau-level key Chinese medicine school in state administration of traditional chinese medicine. It is the teaching point of Guangdong Medical College and Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the distance (network) education and learning center of Sun Yat-sen University, the theoretical teaching and training base of general medical education in Guangdong Province and the continuing medical education and training station in Guangdong Province, the educational institution of in-service health technicians in rural areas of Zhanjiang City, and the skills training base of rural labor force in Zhanjiang City.

Founded in 1965, the school is a public school with a history of 44 years, covering an area of 126.3 mu and a building area of over 40,000 square meters.
