Which islands in China are suitable for summer play? Here are seven places to satisfy your island dream.

If China has a vast territory and abundant resources, it is certainly no problem, and indeed it is. It has a vast territory and rich resources. Although many places are inland, most of them are by the sea, and many people want to go to the sea in summer. So what are the islands suitable for sightseeing in China? Let's take a look at seven places, which are definitely worth visiting.

1, Hainan-Xisha Islands The Xisha Islands are located in the central and western part of the South China Sea and consist of more than 40 islands and reefs, which are divided into two parts:

Xuande Islands and Yongle Islands were named after Zheng He's seven voyages to the West during Yongle to Xuande in Ming Dynasty. Xisha sea area is more than 500,000 square kilometers, and the total area of the island is only a dozen square kilometers. It is a sand island formed by loose coral debris and shell debris piled up on the reef plate. Geographically, it is called grey sand island, and we usually call it sandbar. Monsoon and ocean currents will bring abundant bait and more nutrients to the coral reefs on the windward side. Each small island reef has crescent shape, square shape, horseshoe shape and double horseshoe shape according to the topography and development conditions.

Because the Xisha Islands are far away from the continental shelf, with less pollution and the shadow of ocean currents, the visibility of seawater is extremely high, up to 50 meters. From the air, the whole sea surface seems to have a layered structure, which is an underwater landform composed of reefs and corals. The depth is different. The Xisha Islands have clear water, and the boat seems to be floating in the air.

Suggested way of arrival: Take a cruise to visit Sanya, Hainan.

2. Guangxi-Weizhou Island Weizhou Island is located in the south of Beihai City, Guangxi Province. It is about 6 kilometers long from north to south, 5 kilometers wide from east to west and covers an area of 26 square kilometers. It is the youngest volcanic island in China. Its strata are volcanic rocks and volcanic eruption rocks formed in Quaternary (about 2.6 million years ago). There are many volcanic landforms in the south of the island, such as strange stone walls and stone platforms.

One of them is "Rainbow Beach", which should not be missed. Rainbow Beach is also called Sesame Beach, because the ground is full of sesame-like black gravel. If you are not afraid of pricking your feet, you can step on it and jump. This is because of a volcanic eruption.

Magma flows here and solidifies into hard ground. At the same time, the mountain shook, producing a lot of gravel and falling here. It is very quiet because it is not suitable for ships to dock. The pitted water surface forms many puddles at low tide, which is especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset.

Suggested mode of arrival: Take a boat from Beihai International Passenger Port in Beihai, Guangxi.

3. Guangdong-Hailing Island Hailing Island is located in the south of Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, with an area of about 108 square kilometers. The mountains on the island rise and fall, looking like hills standing in the sea from a distance, hence the name Hailing. There is a "Shili Silver Beach" with clear water and white sand, which is one of the largest beaches in China. At the same time, the beach, sea water and forest belts are distinct and the scenery is beautiful.

1987 A sunken ship of the Song Dynasty was found in the sea more than 30 nautical miles from Hailing Island. The famous Nanhai No.1, a merchant ship that went to South Asia for trade, built the Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum in Hailing Island after underwater archaeological excavation, displaying a large number of Nanhai No.1 cultural relics and the excavation and protection of popular science underwater archaeology.

Suggested mode of arrival: Take a bus from Yangjiang Bus Terminal to zhapo Town, Hailing Island.

4. Fujian-Dongshan Island Dongshan Island in Zhangzhou City, which looks like a butterfly, is located on the southern coast of Fujian, between Xiamen in Fujian and Shantou in Guangdong, and is adjacent to the Taiwan Province Strait in the east. It belongs to one of the five major water towns in Bohai Sea. Fishery has been developed since ancient times. In the southeast, Dongshan Island is the intersection of Minnan fishing ground and Yuedong fishing ground. Fishermen close their nets and tourists watch. It was called Tongshan in ancient times. The ancient city of Tongshan, built in the Ming Dynasty, is preserved on the island, which was built in ancient times to resist the Japanese pirates. The famous battle of Zoumaxi in the West took place on Dongshan Island. It was against the background of the maritime ban at that time that the Ming Dynasty launched a crackdown on Portuguese and Japanese pirates, which was an important chapter in the history of Jiajing and Anti-Japanese Rebellion.

Historically, the coastal defense of Dongshan Island is impregnable, and the ancients thought it was guarded by Guan Gong. In the ancient city of Tongshan, there is an exquisite and elegant Guandi Temple, which is one of the top ten ancient temples in southern Fujian. Built in the Ming Dynasty, the incense is still there. The temple integrates Minnan culture and art, stone carving, porcelain carving and wood carving, with stable building structure and dazzling decoration. It is a national first-class protection unit.

Suggested mode of arrival: Take the high-speed train to Xiao Yun Station in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, and transfer to the bus to Tongling Town, Dongshan Island.

5. Zhejiang-Shengshan Island Zhoushan Islands in the northeast of Zhejiang have beautiful scenery. Just an "uninhabited village" on the holy mountain island is worth a special trip. Shengshan Island is located in the northeast of Zhoushan Islands and the easternmost part of Shengsi Islands. It is located in Zhoushan fishing ground, with rich fishery resources, prosperous ports and rich villages.

However, in a bay in the northeast of the island, a desolate village was deserted. People went to the village of Houtouwan, and the village of Houtouwan was empty. Looking around, there are mottled and broken old houses everywhere, covered with green creepers. There are mountains to shelter from the wind and the waves are mild. From 1950s to 1980s, it was once the richest and most prosperous fishing village in Shengshan Island. However, it was inconvenient for a large number of ships to get in and out, and later a port was built on the other side of the island.

Suggested mode of arrival: Take a boat from Banshengdong Wharf, shenjiamen, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province.

6. Shandong-Liu Gongdao is located in Liu Gongdao at the eastern end of Shandong Peninsula, with an area of about 3. 15 square kilometers. Known as the "battleship of the Eastern Horn" and "unsinkable warship", it stems from its long-term important position in maritime defense. Facing the Yellow Sea and backed by Weihai Bay, it can be said to be the gateway and capital of Bohai Sea. This has always been a military fortress.

The ecology here is commendable. The island's forest coverage rate is 87%, with lush flowers and fresh air. Liu Gongdao National Forest Park is also the only "marine forest park" surrounded by the sea. In 1970s, seven sika deer were introduced to Liu Gongdao, and then they were kept in forest parks. So far, nearly 300 sika deer have been bred. In recent years, sika deer even jumped into the sea and tried to swim across the sea.

Suggested mode of arrival: Take a boat from Weihai Liu Gongdao Passenger Transport Center.

7. Liaoning-Guanglu Island Guanglu Island is located in the west of Changshan Islands in Dalian City, Liaoning Province, in the north of the Yellow Sea. It consists of 23 Okojima, Tui and Reef. The island has fertile soil and abundant fresh water resources. When you come to Guanglu Island, you will have a chance to see all kinds of waterfowl. The beaches on the island are feeding grounds for black-tailed gulls and yellow-billed egrets. In the southwest of Guanglu Island, there is an island reef called "Fantuozi". The surrounding waters are rich in bait, which is called a waterbird paradise. A large number of rare migratory birds live here, such as yellow-billed egrets, sea cormorants, sparrows and black-tailed gulls.
