The tourist attractions in Meishan are: Susan Temple, Wawu Mountain, Black Dragon Pool, Peng Zu and Liujiang Ancient Town.

Susan Temple, located in the southern section of Shabi Line, Dongpo District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, was founded in the Northern Song Dynasty and is now the remains of reconstruction in the fourth year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1665), covering an area of 65,000 square meters. It is the former residence and ancestral hall of Su Xun, Su Shi and Su Zhe, three writers in the Northern Song Dynasty.

On May 25th, 2006, Susan Temple was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

History and culture

Su Shi (1037 ~11year), nicknamed Zizhan, He Zhong, Tieguan Taoist, Dongpo layman, known as Su Dongpo, Su Xian, Meishan native, ancestral home in Luancheng, Hebei Province, a famous writer, painter and historical water control celebrity in the Northern Song Dynasty.

Su Zhe (1039 ~112), with the same word as Uncle, is called Yingbin. Meishan, Meizhou, was a writer and prime minister in the Northern Song Dynasty.

Su Xun (1009 ~ 1066), Ming Yun, was born in Meishan, Meizhou, and was a writer in the Northern Song Dynasty. Together with his sons Su Shi and Su Zhe, he is famous for his literature in the world, known as the "Three Sus" in the world, and both of them are included in the "Eight Masters of Tang and Song Dynasties".
