The ancient region of Jinghai

The Jinghai Jiedushi was established in the Tang Dynasty to manage Jiaozhou (an ancient place name, including today's northern and central Vietnam and part of Guangxi, China. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Jiaozhou governed Panyu, now Guangzhou, and governed today's Guangdong and Guangxi and northern Vietnam). The earliest was Annan Economic Envoy. In the early Qianyuan year, it was changed to Annan Jiedu, with jurisdiction over 21 prefectures. In the middle period of Xiantong, it was changed to Jinghaijun Jiedu, and later it was owned by Qu Yu. Qu Yu died in the first year of Kaiping (907). In the seventh month of Bingshen, Sima Quan Zhi stayed behind in the Yijing naval camp. Passed down for three generations, it was destroyed by Qi Yan in the early years of Changxing in the Later Tang Dynasty (930).
