How to Learn to Let Go (Shi Hongman) ◎ Shi Hongman

All the troubles in life are, in the final analysis, that you didn't learn to let go in life, which made your body and mind bear a heavy burden, so life became more and more tired and harder. "Wise men do nothing, fools tie themselves", and people usually like to put shackles on their hearts and add pressure to their spirits. Therefore, to say "let go" is not only a free mind, but also a sober wisdom. No matter what the situation is, please let go of yesterday's glory, past sufferings and all the burdens that bind you. When you put it down, you will suddenly realize that the burden is relaxed and the sun is shining after the clouds clear.

The more people there are, the more troubles there are. Because everything changes with the change of karma, and we try to keep it the same, naturally no one can do it. On the road of life, many people have an insatiable mentality. As the saying goes, "it's hard to fill the want." Since ancient times, people have yearned for money, beauty, power and all other beautiful things. It is like a surging river, surging in people's hearts. Because of small things, they regret for life. It is because of this greed that they lost too much, and as a result, they drew water with a sieve. Only by learning to let go can you free your hands to get what you really want.

Many people have different views on letting go. In fact, letting go is a wise choice. When doing something, put down what should be done and stop what should be done. Don't lose big because of small things. Letting go is a natural state of mind. Life is always between choices. Faced with different choices, we should learn to let go and learn to be satisfied. This is the mentality of the wise and the ladder of success. Only by letting go of unnecessary things in life can people take a free and easy step, which is live high's style.

Trouble comes from the heart, and all troubles come from oneself. You will encounter many misfortunes, setbacks, failures, blows, pains, loneliness and so on. When you let go of all this, your mind will be relieved, and letting go will be a great disaster. At the same time, letting go doesn't mean giving up. You only know how to measure the pros and cons of things. Don't be too demanding or too wronged. Blindly pursuing things that don't belong to you will not only lose yourself, but also increase your troubles. It can be seen that letting go is for a better choice.

The reason why we are unhappy is that we don't know how to let go. We often worry about things. When we are busy with these things, it is inevitable that the efficiency and effectiveness of our work will be affected by distractions and negative emotions. In fact, the problems we worry about usually don't happen or have adverse effects as we worry about. In that case, why bother yourself? Why not put it down and devote yourself to life and work, not affected by these factors?

In Buddhism, "letting go" does not mean that you want nothing, but what you want and how much you want. That's all that matters. Like Leo? 6? 1 Roston said, "Your body is huge, but all you need in life is a heart. Excess fat will oppress people's hearts, excess wealth will drag people's hearts, and excess chasing and fantasy will only increase their living burden. " Life is too short to enjoy the real happiness of life.

On the road of life, we should give up heavy desires, excessive demands and unnecessary persistence and return to a pure sky. People who practice Buddhism and Taoism can't practice to a profound level if they can't let go of secular desires. Only by letting go of yourself can we realize the true meaning of life. There is a story in Buddhism. When Sakyamuni Buddha was alive, a brahmin came and presented a big flower with his hands. The Buddha said loudly to the Brahman, "Put it down!" Brahman listened to the advice and put down the flowers in his left hand. The Buddha said, "Put it down!" "Brahman put down the flower in his right hand, and Buddha said," Put it down! " The brahmin replied helplessly, "I have nothing to put down." Why should I put it down? "The Buddha listened to his words:" My original intention is not to let you put down your flowers, but to let you put down your six senses. "Only by letting go of these things can we get rid of the cycle of life and death."

"When it is interrupted, it will be chaotic." We should keep the purest and most valuable part of life, give up the burden and adjust our mentality. This is the best choice. In today's society, it is not easy to find an ideal position. Apart from the whole objective environment, it is also related to the unstable mentality of many job seekers, that is, they aim too high, pretend to be lofty, do big things hard, are unwilling to do small things, complain, waste a lot of good time, and life is just a few decades, and soon passes. Once you choose the right goal, you should pursue it. However, when the goal doesn't suit you, you should give up decisively and openly and know how to face everything with reason, so that you can have a bright future. Only by letting go of persistence can we gain new strength and win more rewards. Letting go is another way to have, and learning to let go is to fulfill your own happiness. Someone once said, "There is a fool in the world who pursues fame and fortune. Yunshan forgets me, puts aside gains and losses, and is innocent. "

In fact, there are many cases in Zen, all of which are examples of teaching people to let go: for example, Hui Ke, the second ancestor of Zen, begged the founder of Buddhism to give him peace of mind. Dharma said, "Take your heart and I will give you peace." This is to teach him to relax, so Hui Ke is open-minded. The other is that Hui Neng, the sixth ancestor, was chased by Hui Ming and other disciples after being told that the fifth ancestor was going south. When Huiming wanted to get the mantle back, he realized that he had come not for the mantle, but for the law. At this time, the sixth ancestor came out and said to him, "If you don't think about good and evil, which is the true face of the Ming Dynasty." It means telling him to abandon others and me, put down all thoughts of good and evil, and get spiritual liberation.

In fact, the world is very complicated, and it is actually very complicated to let go of the affairs of law and custom, fame and fortune, selfish desires, debauchery and dogs. Many successful people either donate money to the world, or are willing to be indifferent, let themselves be born after joining the WTO, and be brave and willing to "let go"; While "letting go", they actually get unexpected happiness, which may be invisible, but it is meaningful and higher.

"Put down the butcher knife and become a Buddha." What is a butcher's knife is human desire, greed, anger and delusion. If we can let go of these thoughts, we can achieve Buddha's fruit.

Generally speaking, narrow-minded people always like to embarrass others. They are unwilling to help others, and they are neither tolerant nor forgiving. Sometimes I take advantage of people's danger, seize others' handles and be complacent. In fact, it is not difficult to put aside personal grievances and tolerate others, which is a virtue for others. But some people don't value this virtue. This virtue can influence people, enhance mutual assistance and goodwill between people, and make society form a generous and philosophical atmosphere of kindness, so that villains will not be born, and there will be fewer dark things. When they are unfortunate, they will easily get help from others.

A person's life has to go through thousands of thresholds. The open door is not completely suitable for our body, and sometimes there are even artificial obstacles. We often hit a wall or have to land. Therefore, we should learn to bow our heads, not to be brave, but to twist our arms and hold our thighs. When it is time to bow your head, bow your head and skillfully cross the thorns of life. This is not only the strategy and wisdom of life progress, but also the indispensable demeanor of life based on the world. At the same time, it is also a kind of cultivation.

Real life is cruel, and many people will encounter unpleasant things. Sometimes, you must face the reality and learn to bow your head and show weakness. To put it bluntly, you should bow your head when you should. Let go of the so-called "face" and "dignity". Bowing your head is a kind of wisdom and courage. You know, it is "backbone" to dare to encounter hardships. If you blindly have "backbone", in the end, you will not only be rejected, but also be hit by a "doorframe" and someone will be defeated. Just as we have to bow our heads when crossing a cave, we have to bow our heads to walk better and avoid bumping. This is a kind of wisdom to treat people and things, and it is a positive attitude and realm of life.

We are all ordinary people. Nine times out of ten, the unpleasant things in life, whether you succeeded or failed yesterday, have become history and cannot be the final decisive factor. Therefore, don't dwell on the past, let go of everything in the past and unload the burden in your heart, so as to start a new life better.
