Can I stay in a hotel with a Guangzhou Hong Kong and Macao Pass?

According to the relevant laws and regulations of public security management in the hotel industry, passengers should register with valid identity documents when staying in the hotel.

According to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, the identity documents of China citizens mainly include: residence booklet of the People's Republic of China, identity card, temporary identity card, passport, seaman's card, passport of the People's Republic of China to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and passport of People's Republic of China (PRC) to and from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region on business; Officer's card, police officer's card, civilian cadre's card, soldier's card and student's card issued by China People's Liberation Army and Chinese People's Armed Police Force; Hong Kong and Macao residents travel to and from the Mainland; Travel Permit for mainland travel permit for taiwan residents and People's Republic of China.

China citizens holding the above valid identity documents can register at the hotel. Chinese mainland citizens who really need to go through the boarding formalities without valid identity documents shall declare and verify their identity at the local police station. The police station can print the information of the passenger in the national population information database, and affix the official seal to the passenger as the proof document for handling the flight formalities.

Expand the conditions for handling the Guangzhou Hong Kong and Macao Pass.

Mainland residents apply for going to Hong Kong and Macao.

1. In any of the following circumstances, the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ shall not apply for a pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao:

(a) does not have the nationality of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(two) unable to prove identity;

(3) practicing fraud in the application process;

(4) Being sentenced to a penalty and serving a sentence;

(five) the people's court informed that there are unresolved civil cases that cannot leave the country;

(6) Being a defendant or criminal suspect in a criminal case;

(seven) the relevant competent departments of the State Council believe that leaving the country will endanger national security or cause great losses to national interests.

(8) If a citizen is subject to criminal punishment for obstructing the administration of the national (border) territory or is repatriated to China for illegal exit, illegal residence or illegal employment, the exit-entry administration organ of the public security organ shall not issue an ordinary passport within six months to three years from the date of completion of the punishment or repatriation.

2. In any of the following circumstances, the applicant may apply for expedited treatment:

(a) to go abroad for medical treatment, and provide diagnosis certificates and medical records issued by medical institutions at or above the municipal level in the mainland;

(2) Going abroad to visit critically ill patients, providing the other party's disease certificate or telegram requesting to visit;

(3) Go abroad to attend the funeral, and provide the death certificate issued by relevant institutions or the notice issued by the embassy or consulate to handle the funeral of the deceased;

(4) If the validity of the entry permit or visa to the exit country is about to expire, submit a copy of the entry permit or visa to the exit country and submit the original;

5] When going abroad to participate in emergency business activities, submit the invitation letter from the organizer of large-scale business activities and the certificate of work unit;

(6) The time for studying abroad and starting school is approaching; Submit an admission notice or an admission notice;

(7) Other circumstances deemed urgent by the exit-entry administration of the public security organ.

Handling materials

(6) Registered national staff shall submit the opinions of the unit according to the personnel management authority (only Guangdong household registration applicants are accepted).
