The Urban Channel of Hunan Radio and Television Station was established in May, 200012000. It debuted with the benchmark of "Urban Classics and Advanced Culture" and quickly showed amazing growth.

Since its establishment, Hunan Radio and Television City Channel has won the full support of cities and counties, including township TV stations, with its policy advantages. At present, the channel program has covered Hunan 15 cities and states and 122 counties, townships and villages.

Channel coverage:

In September, 2002, it was originally Hunan Cable TV Station, and later changed to Hunan Radio and TV Station Urban Channel. The wired network is first-class, covering the whole province 14 cities, with a coverage rate as high as 95%. The total amount of unlimited coverage is equal to that of Hunan Satellite TV's unlimited network, and the cable fiber broadband almost touches the whole of Hunan.

Covering more than 95% of counties (districts) and more than 65% of urban and rural areas in the province, covering 14 cities (states) and 100 counties (districts), with wireless coverage of 6 million users. It has 9 wireless transmitting stations covering key cities and economically developed areas in the province, with a total population of 70 million.
