Shandong travel routes
If you don’t count the time you have to go back and forth, you have plenty of time. If you take the train, you will lose two days. The flights to Qingdao are basically in the afternoon and evening, so you can go in advance Go one afternoon or evening. However, only Qingdao has flights to Taiyuan on the return trip. Going from Yantai to Weihai to Qingdao will delay you for a day.
As for the route, it doesn’t matter if you take a flight and visit Qingdao first, because you have to go back and forth in Qingdao anyway, and you have to go back sooner or later. There are buses from Qingdao to Weihai or Yantai, but the trains have to go around Jinan, which is a long way.
First of all, let’s talk about Qingdao. The main highlights of Qingdao are city sightseeing and Laoshan sightseeing. City sightseeing is mainly about coastal style and German-style architecture. First of all, it is very convenient to stay in Shinan District, but the price of that generation can be astronomical in summer, and the price/performance ratio is not high. If you think it is not worth it, you can live a little further away, Qingdao The transportation is quite convenient and not too troublesome.
You can start on the first day, usually starting from the trestle, and then along the coastline to Little Qingdao, Underwater World, Badaguan, Music Square, and May Fourth Square. The day's itinerary will be very full. You need to take a taxi or take a car between various scenic spots, otherwise it will be very tiring. Opposite the May 4th Square is the Olympic Sailing Center. If you still have time when you arrive at the May 4th Square, you can check it out. In fact, there is a lot of water along the way. Except for the underwater world, which will take up some time, the schedule in other places is very empty. For example, Badaguan is mainly the villa area, which is known as a paradise for photographers. If you don’t like taking pictures or don’t like it there The scenery can actually be played in less than half an hour.
The next day, you can go to Laoshan. Laoshan is divided into 7 scenic spots, including Beijiushui, Yangkou, Jufeng, Qipanshi, Taiqing, Liuqing and Hualou. Laoshan is not one. Ticket system, scenic spots are sold separately. It will probably take three or four days to finish everything. If you just hike, it will take about five or six days, which is pretty good. Therefore, in order to simplify it, tourists basically visit Beijiushui and Yangkou Scenic Areas, and the scenic spots also sell combined tickets, which mainly include coastal mountains, springs and waterfalls. The other is Jufeng Scenic Area, where there are also many tourists, mainly mountaineering. It is the highest peak of Laoshan Mountain. You can choose the tour you like, of course the former is more cost-effective.
Of course, if you like, you can stay one more day to continue visiting Laoshan.
Depart from Qingdao and take a bus to Weihai. Weihai's urban construction is very strong, and the mountains and seas are environmentally friendly. Although there are not many scenic spots, the coastal parks in the city are well worth visiting. Of course, the highlight is Liugong Island. You can take a ferry from Weihai Port to Liugong Island in the morning. If you travel quickly (the northern part of the island is covered with large forests and mountains, and there are not many scenic spots, so you don’t have to go if you don’t particularly like it) and you come back early, you can take a bus to Weihai Huaxia City to have a look, which is also very good. . If you don’t have time, don’t go. In terms of accommodation, you can stay near the train station or in the city center. I should explain that the train station is quite far from the city center. Hotels along the coast are more expensive, but there are cheaper ones in central residential areas. If you live directly at the train station, accommodation near the train station is cheaper than along the coast
There is nothing to do in Yantai. Take a bus from Weihai to Penglai. Penglai has Penglai Pavilion, Sanxian Mountain and the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea. , and Ocean World, etc., which can be divided into two days of tour. In terms of accommodation, hotels not far from the coast are very expensive. If you want something more affordable, it is recommended to go inland. There will be some lower-priced hotels with good conditions. It is recommended to check online in advance. In addition, Yujiale is very cheap and you can also eat fresh seafood.
Finally, take a boat from Penglai to Changdao and spend a day sightseeing there. The sea there is beautiful and clean, and it is more affordable to stay in a fisherman's house there than in Penglai. Then take a boat back to Penglai, and then return to Qingdao via Yantai. If you don’t want to take the wrong path, you can take a boat from Yantai to Dalian and fly from Dalian.
The flight from Taiyuan to Qingdao takes 1 hour and 20 minutes, and the train takes about 13 hours. It takes 6 to 7 hours from Qingdao to Weihai. It takes about 2 and a half hours from Weihai to Penglai. It takes 45 minutes to get to Changdao from Penglai by boat and 20 minutes by speedboat. Penglai Island Yantai takes about 1 hour. Yantai to Qingdao takes 7 to 8 hours.
