Malaysia travel guide

I came back from a week in Malaysia and compiled a Malaysia travel guide to share.

Notes:

Entry materials: original passport, electronic visa, hotel order, round-trip air ticket itinerary, and a small amount of cash.

The entry and exit windows are separate for nationals and foreigners, so don’t line up in the wrong line.

The Malaysian travel electronic visa single entry time is 30 days!

Malaysian hotel deposits generally require ringgit and visa cards

Food recommendations:

Special dishes: satay, prawn noodles, nasi lemak, curry Chicken soup, Malay spring rolls, satay, laksa, pole rice, Penang Nyonya cuisine, etc.

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur

It is recommended to arrange the first day’s itinerary in the city center.

Go to the National Mosque, one of the most famous mosques in Malaysia. You can also visit the National Museum of Malaysia to learn about Malaysian history and culture.

After lunch, go to the Petronas Twin Towers to enjoy the beautiful city and night views. You can also go to the KL Tower observation deck, which reaches a height of 421 meters to enjoy the panoramic view.

The next day: Malacca

In the morning, drive to Malacca, which takes about 1.5 hours. Malacca is a historic city with rich cultural and architectural heritage.

You can first visit the city's historical monuments, such as Holland Square, Sanxiu Garden, Langfang Temple Fair, etc. Next try the Jonker Street night market for local delicacies and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Malacca.

Day 3: Penang

In the morning, drive to Penang, which takes about 4 hours. Upon arrival, you can visit Penang’s famous attractions such as Komtar Temple, Batang Anna Mosque and Kek Lok Si Temple.

In the afternoon, you can go to georgetown to visit the city's historical landmarks, such as the clock tower, ancient gate, etc. Later, you can visit the Cheong Fatt Tze Blue House and Museum to learn about the city’s history and culture.

Day 4: Langkawi

Go to Kedah Solo Airport in the morning and take a boat to Langkawi, which takes about 1.5 hours. After arriving in Langkawi, you can head to your hotel to rest or sunbathe on the beach.

In the afternoon, you can take part in some outdoor activities, such as renting a bicycle or hiking to Kedah Hills.

In the evening you can enjoy local cuisine at a beautiful beach restaurant.

Day 5: Langkawi

Explore the underwater world at world-class dive sites or hike in the natural rainforest. You can also participate in cruises between islands, sea fishing activities, etc. In the evening you can try local specialties again.

Day 6: Kinabalu

You can take a flight to Kinabalu. After arriving locally, you can visit the Chimba Presidential Museum to learn about the history of Malaysia’s independence, and you can also go to Taman Negara National Park, where you can enjoy the natural scenery and taste local Malaysian food.

Day 7: Kinabalu

You can go to Songpo Plateau to enjoy the spectacular scenery. You can also go to the nearby Crystal Magic Mirror to enjoy the exciting experience and nature. Beautiful view.
