A long time ago, there lived a hardworking and kind young couple by the Tiaoxi River in northern Zhejiang. My wife was pregnant for one year and gave birth to a freak, like a human being, like a snake instead of a snake.

Mother has always loved her son, so she picked him up and fed him. In this way, she washed and fed him three times a day. One day, two days, after 360 days, my son grew up gradually, but he showed the appearance of a dragon

The news reached the ears of the old family again. He knew that this freak had grown up instead of being stuck. He was very angry, so he came up with a deadly trap to kill it.

One day at noon, the old man hid a firewood knife beside him and secretly hid it in the trees by the pool. When the woman was washing rice, she saw a little dragon swimming ashore to beg for milk.

When the old man saw the knife, he cut it down, and Xiaolong quickly jumped into the lotus pond. But it was too late, and this knife cut off the tail of Xiaolong, and it was instantly bloody. There happened to be a beautiful big butterfly parked in the pool. When the butterfly saw the little dragon suffering for no reason and losing its tail, it was very sympathetic. It immediately flew over and connected its tail with its own body, thus becoming a beautiful dragon tail.

Just then, the wind blew, dark clouds rolled and lotus petals flew in the pool. The dragon suddenly grew to more than ten feet long, jumped out of the pool, filled with lotus petals, and flew straight into the sky.

Seeing this momentum, the old man fainted and died. Xiaolong's mother saw her son flying in the clouds and called Xiaolong three times with tears in her eyes, but Xiaolong had already flown without a trace.

Since then, whenever there is drought on both sides of Tiaoxi River, Xiaolong will fly to beg for rain and let the villagers get a bumper harvest. In order to thank it, people in Changxing area made lotus petals and butterfly dragon's tail with colorful cloth, and made the famous "Louvre Dragon" in Changxing. Every Spring Festival, people dance dragons to commemorate and celebrate.
