Can I stay in a hotel at the age of eighteen?

At least 15 years old, but under 18 years old, you can stay in a regular hotel with your ID card; /kloc-minors under the age of 0/5 are not allowed to stay in the hotel alone and need to be accompanied by adults.

There is no clear age limit for hotel occupancy, but there are some regulations in hotel management, mainly to avoid legal responsibility. In fact, as a business entity, people who have no full capacity for civil conduct can be refused to stay, so many hotels only accept people above 18.

If you can't check in because of repeated rejections, you can issue a certificate to the police station/public security bureau in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located, and the process will not exceed half an hour.

Matters needing attention in hotel accommodation:

Step one, check the cat's eye on the door. If it is damaged or tampered with, you must change rooms. Through the cat's eye, the line of sight should be clear and unobstructed. The tampered cat's eye may be equipped with a peephole camera (a kind of reverse lens that can be seen from the outside).

For safety reasons, it is recommended to put a small piece of paper in the cat's eye and remove it only when necessary. In addition, if someone knocks at the door but the cat can't see anyone, don't open the door and call the front desk. Some hotels are even worse, and there are bugs in the rooms. It's best to check the woodwork furniture such as wardrobe before entering the door. These places are bugs' favorites.
