The history of furong town

In the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu (202 BC), Youyang County was established in Wangcun;

In the Three Kingdoms, it belonged to Shu Han at the beginning, and it belonged to Wu Dong in the 24th year of Jian 'an (AD 2 19).

In the ninth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (589), Youyang County was abandoned and Chenzhou was established, to which Wangcun belonged. In the second year of Tang Dynasty (69 1), Chenzhou was analyzed, Xixi Prefecture was built, and Wangcun was ruled by the state;

In the fourth year of Kaiping in Hou Liang (9 10), Ma Yin, the king of Chu, took Peng Ying as the secretariat of Xizhou, and his descendants inherited the secretariat of Xizhou and lived in Wangcun.

In the fifth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 135), Peng Fushi, the eleventh secretariat of Xizhou, moved to Zhoucheng by the Lingxi River to build a supplementary food city (now old Sicheng). Yuanzhou is the seat of the old government of Xiangxi Tusi, hence the name Wangcun.

In the second year of Ming Hongwu (1369), Yongshun military and civilian appeasement department was established, and in the sixth year (1373), it was promoted to Yongshun military and civilian propaganda and appeasement department, which was in charge of Wangcun.

In the fifth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1727), Peng Zhaohuai, the chieftain of Yongshun, requested to take over the land and set up a flow officer. In the seventh year of Yongzheng (1729), Yongshun House and Yongshun County were established, and Wangcun belonged to them.

1986, the film was shown in furong town. After the success of the film, the tourism of Wangcun suddenly rose, so tourists called Wangcun furong town, and because Wangcun and furong town were easily confused with other villages and towns with the same name, they called it "Wangcun furong town".
