Post responsibility standard of concierge department

Protocol post work task

Most concierge staff are responsible for carrying luggage and guarding the door. Their task is to report directly to the front office manager, but most concierge departments operate in an independent mode. No matter the size of the concierge department, it plays a very important role in the category of customer service. When the guests arrive, the bellboy will go out to meet them, tidy up their luggage and answer all questions. When the guests leave, they will help them carry their luggage from the room to the taxi.

In a hotel, the concierge is on duty 24 hours a day, all year round, while in a general hotel, the receptionist may have to replace the bellman at night. The concierge department will provide a series of services to guests, which other departments may not be able to provide. Although it does not directly bring income, through the introduction of the bellboy, guests can use other facilities of the hotel, thus indirectly bringing income.
