Advantages and disadvantages of DuPont paper fabric

Dupont paper is a material produced by Dupont Company. It is a non-woven material made of 100% high density polyethylene by DuPont patented flash spinning process. Its name is Tyvek, and its Chinese name is Tyvek. Because of its one-way air permeability, it is also called "breathing paper". Advantages:

1, intrinsic dielectric strength. The product can withstand the short-term voltage field strength of 18~40KV/mm without further varnish and resin treatment; Because the product has low dielectric constant, the electric field distribution between insulation and cooling medium is more uniform.

2. Mechanical toughness. High strength, good elasticity, tear resistance and wear resistance, and thinner products are elastic.

3. Thermal stability. It has the approval of UL material temperature grade of 220°C, which means that it can maintain its effective performance for more than 10 years even if it is continuously placed at 220°C.

5, hard work. Compared with other fabrics, paper fabrics are hard, not soft and comfortable enough, and not easy to wear next to the body, so the comfort is not very good.

6, airtight. Because of the existence of waterproof coating, the paper fabric itself is not breathable enough, and it is easy to be stuffy.

7. The price is higher. The price of DuPont fabric is higher than other fabrics.
