Overview of Dalajia Island

Huizhou has 40 large and small islands/kloc-0, including 36 uninhabited islands/kloc-0. Most of these islands are concentrated in Daya Bay. Large and small islands are as beautiful as scattered pearls.

Dalajia Island is the second largest island in Daya Bay, only about ten nautical miles away from Aotou Port and China Shipping Shell Project. It was originally called da Liu Jia, which means a combination of six islands. Fishermen used to speak Chaoshan dialect, because the word "six" in Chaoshan dialect was pronounced "spicy", so it was called Lajia Island.

Dalajia Island covers an area of 2.64 square kilometers, with many natural beaches and many rare marine plants. This is an ecological island with beautiful scenery.

After a comprehensive exploration and planning of the island, it is planned to comprehensively develop the island in stages. The total planned investment is 654.38 billion yuan, which will be promoted in five years. The first investment of 200 million yuan will build high-standard hotels and related tourist facilities.
