Recommended scenic spots in Emei Mountain

Emei Mountain Tourist Resort Emei Jinding

Jinding of Emei is adjacent to the Wanfo Peak of Emei Mountain, with an altitude of 3079.3 meters. The mountains here are high and the clouds are low, and the scenery is magnificent. Visitors can enjoy the four wonders of sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light and magic lamp on the steep cliff. If the weather is fine, you can overlook the Gongga Snow Peak hundreds of miles away. Jinding is located in the cold zone, so tourists should pay attention to cold protection, and those who are weak should not stay for a long time. Buddha's light, sea of clouds and magic lamp are the three natural wonders of Jinding in Emei. Looking out from the viewing platform of Jinding, when the white clouds are scattered in front of the stage, the sun shines on the clouds, showing a bright and colorful halo, which is usually called "Buddha light". It is said that the shadow of Buddha's light can bring good luck, hence the name Jinding Xiangguang. This is another wonder of the Jinding in Emei. The sky is high and the clouds are light. When the sky is clear in Wan Li, fog rises in the valley and permeates the front of Yan, which accumulates thicker and thicker, and the horizon is endless. The peaks at the top of Emei are like isolated islands in the vast sea of clouds. There is no wind in the air, the clouds are like mirrors, and it is silent, as if you are in Penglai fairyland. When the wind blows, the sea of clouds rolls like a thousand Ma Benteng, with great momentum. In the dark night, you can sometimes see a mysterious magic lamp in the valley under the rock. In fact, the magic lamp is neither from the underworld nor from the gods, but from the burning of phosphine in nature. Mount Emei attracts tourists from all over the world with its Buddhist culture and unique and charming scenery, and brings people into the wonderful realm of majestic beauty.

Four Directions and Ten Aspects of Emei Mountain Tourism

The Pu Xian Golden Statue with Ten Faces on Mount Emei is the highest golden Buddha in the world and the first artistic model of Pu Xian with Ten Faces. The golden Buddha statue is made of bronze with a gold-plated surface. It is 48 meters high and weighs 660 tons. It consists of a pedestal and a Pu Xian image with a square of 10. Among them, the base is 6 meters high, 27 meters long and 27 meters wide, surrounded by Bodhisattva Ten Wishes, and the exterior is decorated with granite relief. Ten statues in Pu Xian weigh 350 tons. The 48-meter-high Golden Buddha represents the 48 wishes of Amitabha. One of the "Ten Directions" is a metaphor for Pu Xian's Ten Wishes, and the other symbolizes the ten directions of Buddhism, namely, east, south, west, north, southeast, southwest, northeast, northwest and up and down. It is a metaphor for the infinite wishes of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, covering three generations of sentient beings. Pu Xian's ten portraits are divided into three layers with different expressions, representing ten kinds of human mentality.

Emei Mountain Travel Wannian Temple

Wannian Temple is one of the main temples in Emei Mountain, which was built in the second year of Yuanxi in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 420). At that time, it was called Fukenji, and it was renamed Baishui Fukenji in the Song Dynasty. In the 28th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1600), Jianping Brick Temple was completed in the following year and renamed Shengshou Wannian Temple. The bronze statue of Pu Xian riding an elephant cast in Song Dynasty in the brick hall of Ming Dynasty is the treasure of the town temple. This bronze statue is 7.85 meters high and weighs 62 tons. Wannian Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit. There are five existing halls: the Mountain Gate, the Maitreya Hall, the Brick Hall, the Towering Hall and the Daxiong Hall. The brick hall of Wannian Temple is a miracle of ancient architecture in China. In the past 400 years, this building has experienced 18 earthquakes, but it is safe and sound, which is regarded as a miracle in the history of ancient architecture in China. 1986, Maitreya Hall, Prajna Hall, Faint Bell Pavilion, Drum Tower Gallery and Mountain Gate were restored, making the whole temple more majestic and solemn.

Emeishan travel yinqingge

Yin Qingge is hidden under Niuxinling, where the left Heilongjiang and the right Bailong River embrace each other. There is a black boulder in the valley at the confluence, which looks like a bull's heart stone and is called a bull's heart stone. "Black and white washing cattle heart" has become one of the famous landscapes in Emei Mountain. You have the Shuangfei Bridge, the Shuangfei Pavilion stands between the two bridges, and there are two clear streams under the bridge. "Shuangqiao Hidden Green" is the scenic spot of Emei Mountain. There is a big stone at the intersection of two streams. The stream hit a big stone, making a loud noise, splashing waves and stirring up mist. The colorful Hong Ying in the sun is refreshing and pleasing to the eye. The poem "Two Fei Ying, a bull's heart through the ages" outlines the characteristics of this pavilion.

In 877 (the fourth year of Ganfu in Tang Xizong), Master Huitong founded the Yinqing Pavilion. Formerly known as Jiyun Pavilion, it was rebuilt by Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty and renamed as Yinqing Pavilion. There is a row of temples dedicated to Sakyamuni, Pu Xian and Manjusri. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, streams, rocks and springs, it is known as the first scenic spot in Emei Mountain. Mount Emei is 700-3000 meters above sea level, with Heilongjiang and Bailong River interspersed. The river bed has a great drop, which constitutes countless flowing springs, waterfalls and canyon cliffs. In Xianfeng Temple, Hongchunping and Qingyin Pavilion, the height difference between peaks and valleys is more than seven or eight hundred meters.

A glimpse of Emei Mountain tourism

A line of sky spans the Heilongjiang Canyon to the west of Yin Qing Pavilion, and the two banks are far opposite. It is as dangerous as a knife, about 6 meters wide and only 3 meters wide at its narrowest point. The situation is very dangerous. The plank road in Heilongjiang is the Xia Quan landscape of Qingyinge Scenic Area. Located in Baiyun Gorge, Heilongjiang, 1km west of Yinqing Pavilion. Heilongjiang originates from the Black Dragon Pool under Jiulao Cavern, passes through Hongchunping, reaches Qingyin Pavilion and flows into Emei River. At the foot of Niuxinling in the west of Heilongjiang, mountain trails always meander on both sides of the river. In the past, walking required wading back and forth between rocks and streams and trudging between rocks. Therefore, the mountain roads in this area are commonly known as "twenty-four feet without doing it". Later, the scenic area management department built several small bridges.

Located in the middle of Mount Emei in Xixiangchi Scenic Area, with an altitude of about 2 100 meters, it is said that it is the place where Pu Xian bathes white elephants. The mountains here are high and the scenery is the most beautiful. "Xiangchi jathyapple" is one of the ten scenic spots in Emei. If tourists can stay here on a full moon night, the experience will be very unique.

Emeishan tourism

Bao Guo Temple, the gateway of Emei Mountain, is located at the foot of Emei Mountain, with its back against the majestic Guangming Mountain and facing the beautiful Fengbao. It is the largest temple in Emei Mountain and is known as the first scene of Emei Mountain. Bao Guo Temple, formerly known as Huizongtang, was built in the 43rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (16 15) and was destroyed by fire in the late Ming Dynasty. In the 11th year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1654), the Zen master of Wenda was rebuilt, and Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty named Bao Guo Temple. The plaque was inscribed by Kangxi. After two expansions in Jiaqing and Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, it became a magnificent temple with four halls and pavilions.

There are four temples in the temple, hidden among pines and cypresses, pavilions and elegant gardens. There are three treasures in Bao Guo Temple. One is a giant porcelain Buddha with a height of 2.4m, which was built in the 13th year of Yongle (14 15). The second is a large bronze bell with a height of 2.3 meters and a weight of 25 tons; It is a 14-story "Huayan Copper Tower", 7 meters high, surrounded by more than 4,700 Buddha statues and the full text of Huayan Jing.

The copper tower is divided into three sections and fourteen floors, the lower section is a thick bowl cover, the upper section is a double pavilion, and the middle section is divided into two sections by a huge tower eaves, with seven floors above and below. Children's Eye Pagoda has the characteristics of ancient pavilions and Buddhist buildings in China. Most of the carvings above are high reliefs with special shapes, like two seven-story pagodas stacked together. It is second to none in large metal buildings. It is a precious cultural relic for studying ancient Chinese architecture and sculpture.

Tourism of Mount Emei Khufu Temple

Khufu Temple is the only place for tourists to climb Mount Emei. It's close to Guoan Temple. Founded in the Tang Dynasty, it was originally named Shenlong Hall. Later, it was renamed as Khufu Temple, because the mountain peaks behind the temple were towering into the sky and curled up like tigers. The temple was destroyed by a fire in the late Ming Dynasty and expanded in the early Qing Dynasty. The Chonglong Temple in Hall 13, which took 20 years to build, is a complex building with deep twists and turns.

Emeishan Travel Shui Sheng Pavilion

Shui Sheng Pavilion is a gathering place of religious attractions. Jingtang Temple was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and there is Puxian Stone not far in front of it, which is called the resting place for Pu Xian to climb mountains. Nearby, the Thousand-Man Cave is the remains of the seventh cave of Taoist Xu Ling, and the cross cave was carved by Lv Chunyang's sword.

Sea of clouds tourism in Emei Mountain.

Clear skies in Wan Li, white clouds rising from Ran Ran, Qian Shan. In an instant, the vast sea of clouds, snow-white carpet, generally flat on the horizon, clear, thick, moist, endless, seems to be resting, sleeping soundly. Sometimes, there are clouds in the sky. People stand between two clouds and feel very high. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Fan Chengda called the sea of clouds "Douluo World" (Douluo: Sanskrit, the name of the tree), and Buddhism called it "Silver World". Among the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, Buddhists also regard "Silver World" as a synonym for Emei Mountain, just as Wutai Mountain is called "Golden World", Putuo Mountain is called "Coloured Glass World" and Jiuhua Mountain is called "Unnatural World".

When the wind blows, the sea of clouds drifts away, and the peaks become islands in the sea; Clouds converge and thousands of valleys disappear without a trace. The opening and closing of the sea of clouds is like a "green snake dancing in a mountain stream" with magnificent weather. When the wind is tight, the sea of clouds suddenly gallops, rolls, floats and stretches, seemingly unconstrained, like waves, like snowballs rolling on the ground. The most spectacular thing is that, occasionally, countless mushroom-shaped cloud columns are stirred up in the sea of clouds, rise to the sky, and then slowly spread out into faint wisps of clouds. This mushroom cloud is extremely difficult to see. Fan che

The sky before dawn in Jinding is wonderful. In the east, in the deep purple space, the sky and the earth are the same color. Gradually, a line of red clouds floated from the horizon, holding three or two colorful clouds inlaid with Phnom Penh, indicating that a brilliant day is coming. Under the clouds, on the empty purple-blue sky, for an instant, a little purple rose slowly and gradually became a small arc and a semicircle; Turn orange and golden red; Then a slight jump, dragging the fleeting taillights, a red sun embedded in the horizon. Sunrise varies greatly due to different meteorological conditions and seasons. When the weather is clear, the sun rises from the horizon and you can watch the whole process of magnificent sunrise; Or there are clouds on the horizon, and when the sun rises, it is already a red sun out of the horizon; Or there are clouds everywhere, and sometimes only sunrise and sea of clouds can be seen.

With the rising sun, the sky is full of morning glow, and thousands of golden lights shoot at the earth. Emei Mountain seems to be gradually covered with a golden cloak from head to toe, showing all its beautiful gestures. At this moment, heaven and earth become a golden world, symbolizing "morning is golden", which means a cold place. You know, the world is vast.

Ten thousand buddhas visit Mount Emei.

Giant Buddha Peak is the highest peak of Mount Emei, with an altitude of 3099 meters. It's called "Living in Pu Xian, surrounded by thousands of Buddhas". Emei Mountain is a virgin forest eco-tourism area, with ten thousand Buddha Pavilion, alpine rhododendron forest, Black Bear Valley, Ren Xian Huitou and other scenic spots. The Buddha Pavilion is 2 1 m high, majestic and solemn, and the "May the Ancient Bell" hanging on the roof is solemn and solemn. The bell of the Buddha Pavilion is exquisite, and it often strikes 108: once in the morning and once in the evening, 18 in an emergency, 18 in a slow time and 18 in a slow time. This is repeated twice, *** 108 times, that is to say, a year should be 12 months, 24 solar terms, 72 climates (5 days as waiting time), a total of * * * 108 times, symbolizing a year's cycle and eternity. Buddhism also says that ringing the bell 108 times can eliminate 108 kinds of worries and distractions. When the Buddha Pavilion rings the bell, it stands on the top of Mount Emei, facing Pu Xian in all directions, ringing the door of Elysium with the bell to convey good wishes.

Matters needing attention in Emei Mountain tourism

1) Cold protection: The highest elevation of Mount Emei is 3,099 meters, and the relative elevation is more than 2,500 meters (the elevation of Mount Emei at the foot of the mountain is only 420 meters). The vertical difference is large, and the temperature is often lower than that at the foot of the mountain 10 or so. Therefore, climbers should prepare for the cold as soon as possible (Jinding can also rent cotton-padded clothes).

2) Rain protection: Mount Emei has low clouds and dense fog, and it rains all day in Mao Mao. Climbers should prepare corresponding rain gear (preferably portable plastic film raincoat).

3) Anti-skid: Some sections of Mount Emei are very smooth and dangerous. Visitors should pay special attention to safety and should not wear bare-soled and hard-soled shoes.

4) For a one-day tour of Mount Emei, be sure to ask about the tour route, because there are local lines A and B.. A line only plays Jinding, and B line visits Wannian Temple, Bailong Cave, Yinqing Pavilion, Yixiantian and Monkey Show in Zhongshan District. It takes about two to three days to visit Mount Emei comprehensively.

5) There are unlicensed tour guides and licensed tour guides in the local area. Undocumented tour guides will be caught by inspectors, and then certified tour guides will be sent, which will delay the tour time.

6) It takes about two and a half hours to climb the mountain by car, and the destination is "Dong Leiping" instead of "Jinding". Walking from Dong Leiping to Jinding is 15 miles. Special note: Don't rent a coat in Dong Leiping, it will increase your burden of mountain climbing.

7) Jinding accommodation is not very expensive, generally more than 20 RMB. You can stay in "Wo Yun" or an ordinary hotel, such as "Woshu". It is recommended to stay in "703 TV Station Guest House" and "Weather Station Guest House". The condition of Jinding Hotel is better, but it is more expensive.

You can buy new tea in spring and summer. There are some tea shops on both sides of the mountain road and in downtown Emei. In order to prevent buying old tea in previous years by mistake, I will buy it later.
