English introduction to Bali

Bali is one of more than13,000 islands in the Indonesian archipelago, located at the eastern tip of Java Island and 2km west of Lo mbok Island. This island has a population of about 4 million, with a length of about 144 km from east to west and 80 km from north to south.

The diverse hills and mountains, rugged coastlines and beaches, lush rice terraces and barren volcanic slopes of the rice paddy island in Tabanan provide a picturesque background for the colorful and profound spiritual culture of this "Island of God".
