Guangxi University, called Xida for short, is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and ranks among the "21/project" and "world-class discipline construction university". Guangxi University, founded in 1928, is the first higher education institution in Guangxi.
