Daily study in changmen xiatang

1 19 10 19, we followed Mr dragonfly to changmenxiatang. From 8: 30 in the morning to more than 3: 00 in the afternoon, I walked for more than 5 hours and learned many historical stories here, which really benefited me a lot!

I won't repeat what I wrote in the last article, just a few points.

Changliu village

Changlong Village is located in the north of Chong 'anli, Xiatang, Changmen. It starts from the East Corner Wall in the south, reaches Qiantongren Street in the north, Gonglong in the east and Jiufuli in the west.

In the early years of the Republic of China, the alley-style buildings built by wealthy businessmen in Shanghai took the names of his two sons "Chang" and "Yun" to synthesize the village names, which meant that financial resources were abundant. There are six rows in the building, and the east-west road in front of each row is called Changlun Village, with a length of 33 meters and a width of 4.5 meters.

Taibo temple

Taibo Temple is located in Taohuawu Historic District, No.250 Xiatang Street, Changmen, Suzhou. It was built in memory of Zhou's eldest son, Taibo. Its history can be traced back to the Eastern Han Dynasty, and it is the first temple in the south of the Yangtze River dedicated to Taibo, the ancestor of Wu Development. There are three existing buildings in the Qing Dynasty, namely Zhide Bridge, Zhide Square, Main Hall and East and West buildings.

Wenshan Temple

Wenshan Temple is located at No.30-1Wenchang Lane, Zhongjie Road, Taohuawu Street, gusu district, Suzhou. It is said that it is related to Wen Tianxiang's garrison here. There are four inscriptions in the temple.

Tengguan

The building is located at No.32, Xiatang Street, Changmen. It was built in Xichun period of Southern Song Dynasty and rebuilt in Tongzhi decade (187 1). Sitting facing south, only the mountain gate and two gates are left in the middle road. The Fuji Temple, commonly known as the Immortal Temple, is dedicated to Lv Chunyang, where the immortals were crushed on the 14th day of the fourth lunar month. There are four gates, with a width of14.2m and a depth of 6.8m. They are hard-topped, with a basin-column foundation covered with bluestone, two entrances to the West Road and two entrances to the East Road with bungalows.

Dengzhai

The building was built in the Qing Dynasty, with three roads and four entrances, and the east and north sides face the river. There is a brick-carved gatehouse at the first entrance of Zhonglu Road, which was inscribed "Good Virtue and Good Fortune" in Huang Shang in June of Guangxu Bingwu Year (1906). The second hall is three rooms wide and five beams are turned over. The flowers in the west have been abandoned, including lakes, rockeries, boxwood and magnolia.

Ji In Lee

Li Zhiren, located in Cang Qiao, is a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province. 19 19 was built by a businessman named que. Sitting facing south, * * * has six bungalows, six groups of buildings and two garden houses, which was a large-scale building for house leasing in the Republic of China and a new model of real estate development at that time. Two of the garden houses are typical masterpieces. The owner wanted to realize his wish, so he named it "Li Zhiren".

Changmen hotel

Nagato Hotel, located at No.39, Xi Zhong/KLOC-0, is the only well-preserved park of the Republic of China in the old city, with an area of 2 1000 square meters and a total construction area of 15000 square meters. Before and after liberation, there were more than 20 large and small buildings, among which 3 West Villa with different styles were built in 1927 (16), and 199 1 was listed as a cultural relic protection unit by Suzhou Municipal People's Government. After liberation, as the first guest house of Suzhou Municipal Government, Nagato Hotel was once the most famous garden-style hotel in Suzhou. In April 2007, it was listed by the state and ministries as "central state organs for business trips and meetings".

There are many ancient bridges and wells.
