Composition of wireless monitoring system

At present, some network vendors have provided some so-called wireless monitoring schemes, and their network topology diagram is as follows:

The above picture shows the wireless monitoring system provided by some network vendors. As we can see from the figure, this system is mainly divided into two parts, one is the monitoring center and the other is the foreground monitoring. The foreground monitoring is mainly composed of network cameras and video encoders, and some of them are equipped with pan-tilt and other equipment, which is the core of the whole monitoring system. We know that the most important equipment in a monitoring system is the network camera, and whether the network camera is wired or wireless will determine whether the whole monitoring system is wired or wireless. In this scheme, we can clearly see that it uses a wired network camera, which is connected to the wireless AP through a video encoder, and then transmits the captured image signal to the monitoring center through the wireless AP. This scheme is called wireless monitoring scheme because wireless data transmission is adopted between the monitoring center and the foreground monitoring, but it is not wireless monitoring in the real sense, because the system still needs wiring, which will also bring trouble to the users who set up this system. The real wireless monitoring system we are talking about is a system composed of wireless network cameras, and any link in the front desk of the monitoring system does not need wiring.

The following figure shows the topological structure of the wireless monitoring system: as can be seen from the above figure, the distribution of the wireless monitoring system is relatively simple, and there are fewer product choices. Basically, only wireless network cameras, wireless AP, control terminals and some commonly used switches are needed to realize wireless monitoring. I believe everyone knows the structure of wired network monitoring system, so why doesn't wireless network monitoring system use video server and other equipment? In fact, these functions are integrated into the wireless network monitoring camera, so the wireless network monitoring camera plays an irreplaceable role in the wireless monitoring system.

The establishment of WLAN depends on the specific environment, and the wireless monitoring system is a monitoring system based on WLAN. Therefore, the establishment of wireless monitoring system should also be determined according to the specific environment, but generally speaking, wireless monitoring system can have three modes, one is outdoor wireless monitoring system, the other is indoor wireless monitoring system, and the other is outdoor and indoor mixed monitoring system. Outdoor wireless monitoring system is used in some factories, and they need to monitor the safety of various places. Indoor wireless monitoring system is used in mining, iron and steel smelting, hotels and other industries. We will not describe the outdoor and indoor mixed monitoring system. As long as the outdoor and indoor monitoring systems can be successfully established, this mixed mode is very simple.

In the outdoor wireless monitoring system, we don't have to think too much about the problem of wireless signals passing through the wall. The wireless network cameras in the outdoor wireless monitoring system are generally scattered, but we also have to consider the interference of some foreign signals. We can receive the monitoring signal directly through the wireless AP in the monitoring center. The following is the network topology diagram of the wireless monitoring system within the transmission distance of the wireless AP:

If the distance between the wireless network camera and the monitoring center is within 1km, we can add a wireless AP near the wireless network camera, and then realize the connection with the wireless AP of the monitoring center through the bridge function of the wireless AP, so as to transmit data to the monitoring center. The following figure shows the topological structure of the wireless network monitoring system, in which the distance between the wireless network camera and the monitoring center is within 1km. If the distance between the wireless network camera and the monitoring center is far away, which has exceeded 1km, then we should consider using a wireless bridge to realize data transmission. Bridges are generally used for wireless network connections above 1km and below 50km. Therefore, we use wireless bridge to build wireless monitoring system.
