When is the best time to go to Yubeng?

The best time to see the snowstorm varies from person to person, and there are beautiful scenery in every season.

Meili Snow Mountain

Meili Snow Mountain is located at the junction of Deqin County in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province and Chayu County in Tibet. Meili Snow Mountain belongs to Hengduan Mountains, 849 kilometers away from Kunming.

Meili Snow Mountain belongs to the middle section of Nu Mountain and is located in the world-famous "Three Parallel Rivers" area of Jinsha River, Lancang River and Nu River. It comes from the north and has thirteen peaks, which are magnificent.

Due to the obvious vertical climate, the climate in Meili Snow Mountain area is changeable, and snow, rain and rain are all in an instant.

Meili Snow Mountain has both the grandeur of snowy plateau and the beauty of Jiangnan. Under the blue sky, the white and magnificent snow-capped mountains and blue and soft lakes, the vast and desolate forests and the grasslands of vast expanse all give people a strong impact in feeling and color.

Yubeng is a Tibetan natural village at the foot of goddess peak in Meili Snow Mountain. Walking there is quite a sense of paradise, which is the epitome of Shangri-La. Yubeng Waterfall has always been a holy place for Tibetan Buddhism to worship. Thousands of believers come to worship from Tibet, Sichuan, Qinghai, Gansu and other places every year.

Rain avalanche and ice lake

Raindrop Ice Lake is also called "Base Camp Ice Lake". The ice lake is about 3800 meters above sea level, which is also the highest point we reached in Yubeng Village. It is about an hour's journey from the base camp. Upstream along the stream near the camp, over a big stone with a waterfall, a small alpine ice lake appeared in front of us. It is green as jade, holy and quiet, which makes us exclaim! Glacial lake is a typical glacial lake, which is formed by the erosion of the surface by glacial movement. On one side of the ice lake is the ridge where we are, and on the other side are vertical rock walls and glaciers that are almost suspended in the air. Blue glaciers meet green lakes. Climbing up from the rock wall can reach the main peak of Kawaberg. At that time, the mountaineering team climbed up from the rock wall by the ice lake. The guide pointed to a position above the rock wall that we couldn't see, saying that the mountaineering team was killed there. Huge glaciers and snow will continue to fall into the ice lake from the cliff, thus constantly replenishing the lake; Other glaciers spread into the lake, which is very spectacular. We sit quietly by the ice lake, looking up at the blue sky, snow-capped mountains and glaciers, drinking a mouthful of pure lake water when we are thirsty, and the idea of staying here forever slowly breeds from our hearts.

Yubeng waterfall

Yubengshen Waterfall is located in the south of Kawa Peak in Yunling Township, Deqin County, Yunnan Province. It is called "Rain Collapse Waterfall", and Tibetans bathe under the Rain Collapse Waterfall as a spiritual practice. "Rain Collapse", which means scripture, is related to the "Shiyinjing" scenic spot not far from the village. Yubeng is the highest village on Meili Snow Mountain. The scenery of Yubeng Waterfall changes with the seasons. In spring and summer, the snow and ice melt, and the waterfall water flow increases, falling into the ground and splashing. In the rainy season, the waterfall is more spectacular. At ordinary times, it is just a waterline, hanging on the mountain like Hada.

It is said that Yubeng Waterfall is the holy water that Kawagbo retrieved from the sky, which can predict people's fate, eliminate disasters and help all beings. Tibetan Buddhists worship Meili Snow Mountain and must bathe in the waterfall. ?

The sun rises obliquely, and visitors can see the rainbow around them when they pass the waterfall. In autumn and winter, the water becomes smaller, the mountain wind passes by, sometimes throwing the ground in the air and sometimes falling on the wall, which changes a lot. From a distance, it looks like an ordinary silk, and it looks like a pearl hanging down. Pilgrims regard the waterfall as holy water, rushing to bathe and drink, and taking it home in bottles to offer sacrifices.
