The Story Prototype of Song of Coconut Grove

1one night in June, 937, Mao Zedong invited Liao Chengzhi to the cave where he lived and arranged an important task: with unique convenience, he asked Liao Chengzhi to open offices of the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army in Hongkong.

At the beginning of 1938, Liao Chengzhi arrived in Hongkong after many twists and turns. After secret research with Pan Hannian and others, the Eighth Route Army office in Hong Kong was established under the cover of a tea business at Queen's Road 18 in Hong Kong.

10 year1October 22nd, Guangzhou fell. The traffic line of the Eighth Route Army from Hong Kong to Chongqing was immediately changed from Guangzhou, Hengyang and Changsha to Guangzhou Bay by boat from Hong Kong, from Suixi and Lianjiang to Luchuan in Guangxi, and then from Binyang and Liuzhou to Guilin by coach via Yulin and Guixian. The return trip is from Lijiang to Wuzhou to Guangdong and Hong Kong. ...

Such a fresh, meaningful, lively and brisk song in the movie "Song of Coconut Grove" also hides a respectable sacrifice behind it. The plot of "Song of Coconut Grove" sent to the radio station at sea is based on the historical facts that people in Tang Yong, Yongzhou and Xuwen sent radio stations to Qiongya guerrillas.

Lin Meiyu, a 93-year-old traffic policeman at Tang Fu Traffic Station, recalled that in the summer of 1940, Liao Chengzhi, the head of the Eighth Route Army's Hong Kong office, bought a large radio station for Hainan Qiongya guerrillas according to the instructions of the CPC Central Committee, and Hainan traffic police transported the radio station from Hong Kong to Xiying (Xiashan). He and Wu Dezhong escort, Lin Yu and Lin Kui put the radio in a cargo cage, sent to a small temple called Haishan Palace by the sea, and then put on a sailboat from the current location of Haifu. Then, they went through difficulties and obstacles and safely transported the radio station to the underground traffic station in Pazhou. After that, it will be transported to Hainan.

Zhanjiang-Hainan is one of the three underground traffic lines established by Jintang Traffic Station in the early 1940s. The other two are Zhanjiang (commonly known as Guangzhou Bay) to Malaysia and Zhanjiang to Hong Kong.

Liao Chengzhi, when did you set your sights on Zhanjiang?

1 Advantages of Guangzhou Bay

It is no accident that Liao Chengzhi chose Guangzhou Bay as an important red traffic line during the period of white terror.

Geographically, Guangzhou Bay is located at the junction of Guangdong, Guangxi and Qionghai provinces, with convenient land and water transportation, bordering Hong Kong, Macao and Southeast Asia, and connecting South China and Southwest China. Especially on the first line of the sea, it is more convenient to open the breakthrough than to take the land because of the scattered harbors around the Beibu Gulf.

-From the revolutionary practice, local underground party organizations have also accumulated rich experience in underground struggle. Due to the long-term rule of Guangzhou Bay by various counter-revolutionary forces such as French colonialists and Kuomintang reactionaries, the revolutionary activities of the * * * production party have been underground. The red underground activities in Guangzhou Bay were born almost at the same time as the party organization. Since its birth, under the direct leadership of China Nanfang Bureau, Hongkong Branch, South China Branch and Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, a large number of underground traffic stations and contact points have been established in urban and rural areas of the city.

-There are a large number of outstanding underground workers in Guangzhou Bay, who have strong party spirit and firm belief. Huang Xue, the first special secretary of Zhongnan Road, was one of the four leaders of Guangdong agricultural movement and was highly praised by Premier Zhou Enlai. 1927, Huang Pingmin, who served as the special secretary of China South Road, was a member of China European Branch together with Zhu De and other early producers of * * *. There are many politically determined producers like this in party member. They persist in carrying out revolutionary activities in secret, dare to sacrifice and struggle, and show strong political quality.

2 Luo Zi Chen Guang

Liao Chengzhi and Pan Hannian are well aware of this. When they further studied the situation, they found that the revolutionary activities in Chenguang Primary School in Guangzhou Bay were very active: how could a small school have almost surging revolutionary passion?

Soon, they found out that Xu Naichao, the principal of Chenguang Primary School in Guangzhou Bay, was a * * * party member who lost contact with the Party organization after the failure of the revolution. The revolutionary ideal that burned in his heart never went out. Although there is no news of the party organization, he still maintains a clear political consciousness and silently adheres to revolutionary activities. This discovery excited Liao Chengzhi and Pan Hannian.

The Party Central Committee asked Liao Chengzhi to set up an Eighth Route Army office in Hongkong, just to open a channel connecting overseas. At that time, the war was tense, and the situation in Guangzhou, where the Eighth Route Army office in Hong Kong must pass, was extremely grim. It is urgent to find new channels.

1autumn of 938, Guangzhou fell.

Liao Chengzhi made a decisive decision: to establish Chenguang Primary School and open Guangzhou Bay.

So, in 10, he sent Pan Yunbo, secretary of the Hong Kong Seafarers' Working Committee, to Guangzhou Bay. Pan Yunbo came to Chenguang Primary School in Guangzhou Bay with a clear introduction from the organization minister of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, and received and restored Xu Naichao's organizational relationship, and established a traffic transfer station in Chenguang Primary School.

1938165438+10 In October, Li Peiqun, the traffic officer of the Eighth Route Army Office in Hong Kong, came to Chen Guang Primary School and Xu Naichao with a clear letter of introduction. Xu Naichao arranged for Li to stay in the most prosperous and gorgeous Gem Hotel in Zhanjiang at that time, and then found a car to send him to Guilin. From then on, Li Peiqun often passed through Zhanjiang with confidential documents and became one of the underground traffic policemen who used this line the most.

3 underground transportation network

Soon, Li Kenong, director of the Eighth Route Army office in Guilin, also decided to use the traffic line from Guilin to Hong Kong via Zhanjiang. The traffic policeman on this traffic line is Zeng Changming. Guilin office will set the traffic contact point at "Erxinxing" in Xiashan.

1939 In February, after the Japanese invaded Hainan Island, a large number of Hainan refugees fled to Guangzhou Bay. The Eighth Route Army Office in Hong Kong set up the "Hong Kong Qiongya Overseas Chinese Relief Association Branch" in Naozhou Island as the foothold for refugees fleeing from Qiongya.

1In August, 939, in order to solve the problem that many people and materials went to Hainan via Guangzhou Bay, Qiongya Special Committee decided to set up a traffic station outside Guangzhou Bay after seeking Liao Chengzhi's consent. The Guangzhou Bay Office of Qiongya Special Committee requested China Guangzhou Bay Branch to assist in contacting the location. Lin Lin, then secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, asked Zhong * * * Guangzhou Bay Branch for instructions and agreed that the Qiongya Special Commission Office in Guangzhou Bay and Zhong * * * Guangzhou Bay Branch * * would jointly use Lutang Traffic Station.

At the beginning of 1940, Lutang Communication Station successively set up contact stations and connection points in Xiashan, "Gongtailong" in Chikan City, Lin and Tianhe Chinese Medicine.

Subsequently, three underground traffic lines from Zhanjiang to Malaysia, Hong Kong and Hainan were built at Tang Bao Traffic Station.

In this way, in Zhanjiang, the Central South Bureau, the Central Hong Kong Branch, the Eighth Route Army offices in Hong Kong and Guilin, the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, the Qiongya Special Committee, the Zhongnan Road Special Committee and the Guangdong-Guangxi Border Region Committee have respectively or jointly established a number of underground contact points, traffic stations and traffic points. These underground stations intersect with each other, forming a criss-crossing underground transportation network extending in all directions, and their working tentacles extend to counties in Lu Nan, Hainan, Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, Guangxi, Shanghai, Chongqing and Vietnam.

4 the task of transportation network

The main task of the secret underground traffic network is to receive, cover and escort people who travel between Guilin, Chongqing, Hong Kong and Hainan via Guangzhou Bay.

On the eve of the Pacific War, Zhou Enlai made arrangements for "rescuing cultural celebrities": "If possible, please go to Macau and transfer to Guangzhou Bay first, or go to Guangzhou Bay first and then concentrate on Guilin".

Xia Yan, a writer, described what he saw and heard when he went south from Guilin to Guangzhou Bay in 1938. The famous writer has traveled back and forth to this traffic line three times. 194 1 year, when he and Tao Xingzhi's son Xiao were hidden in Lutang traffic station, they guided the implementation of the work of "Mr. Xiao" in the primary school in the village and established the "Mr. Xiao" Committee. George Lam, an old traffic policeman, recalled that he was one of the "little gentlemen" at that time. He once worked as a young master with a man named Lin in Shangpotang Village. Tang Bao has become the cradle of revolution.

According to incomplete statistics, hundreds of revolutionary comrades have traveled overseas on this traffic line, such as Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Guilin, Shanghai, Chongqing and Hainan. Among them are leading comrades of the Party, Liang Jia, Zuo, Liang Guang, Wang, Yang Yingbin, Feng Baiju, Li Liming and Zhuang Tian, as well as cultural celebrities, Zhao Shaoang, Ma Shiceng, Xue Juexian and Red Girl. Many members of Qiongya Overseas Chinese Anti-Japanese Returned Service Group returned to Hainan Island from Hong Kong via Zhanjiang, and Yang, member of the Malaysian Central Committee and organization minister, who returned from Malaysia.

Transmitting information, confidential documents, medicines and important equipment are also important tasks of this transportation network.

It is very difficult and dangerous to transmit confidential documents when the enemy tightly blocks the main road. However, the traffic police were calm, witty and brave, and saved the day again and again, breaking through many blockades. From March to April, 1947, the radio code of Lieutenant General Wu De, the traffic officer of South Road Special Committee, was escorted back to South Road from Hongkong. When the leading comrades of the Hong Kong branch handed him the password in a double-tube pipe, they told him that everything could be lost, even at the cost of their lives, but the password in the pipe must not be lost. After he arrived in Jiangmen from Hong Kong, he found that the enemy had set up checkpoints for inspection, and everyone passing by was searched. At a critical juncture, Wu De used his quick wits and immediately took out a cigarette butt and lit a cigarette. The spy carefully examined the paper, toothpaste, tobacco and luggage he carried with him. He calmly smoked with a cigarette end while coping with the enemy's questioning. The enemy didn't expect that the pipe in his mouth contained party secrets. In this way, he successfully sent the secret documents to the South Road Special Committee.

Today, people pursue spy films and applaud the thrilling plot and the heroic and witty underground party member; In the true story, underground party member put their heads on their belts, ready to go through fire and water.

1943, Xu Naichao left Chenguang Primary School under the order of the superior organization.

Later, the revolutionaries took over the baton of Chen Guang Primary School and continued to fight. Like a large number of underground traffic stations such as Tang Bao, this chess piece, which played a great role in Liao Chengzhi's hands, has always insisted on fighting, like a chess piece bravely crossing the river. It was not until 1949 19 February 19 that Zhanjiang was liberated. When the dawn shone on the land of Zhanjiang, this chess piece was successfully retired, ending the mission of rallying glory and dreams.

Today, the old place is still there, and things are different.

The warm sunshine hits the streets of this city, and the wide roads are full of traffic. The elder sister in the park twisted her waist with the cheerful music, and the flower-like children ran and frolicked on the lawn. From time to time, people take out their mobile phones to take pictures and pass on this happy time-this is a beautiful peaceful era and a fast information age. However, how can we forget those figures? They once sprinkled heroic blood and showed fearless wisdom on this land, and their stalwart figures lit up that eventful time. ...
