The Development Course of Shanghai Skipping Team

In 2003, the team's predecessor (Folk Sports Skipping Club) was established in Shanghai Institute of Physical Education, the first higher physical education institution in China.

In 2004, synchronous rope skipping frequently appeared in domestic large-scale competitions, and the team backbone went deep into folk investigation and study for many times to learn the essence of folk rope skipping.

In 2005, synchronized rope skipping entered the Shanghai community as an excellent folk sport, and the team was rated as the "advanced collective" of Shanghai college students.

In 2006, China Synchronized Rope Skipping Alliance-Yuedong Shanghai Synchronized Rope Skipping Team was formally established and began to exchange and cooperate with foreign skipping organizations.

In 2007, education bureau of shanghai, Sports Bureau and Health Bureau joined hands to participate in the research project of "Teenagers and children lose weight through sports intervention".

In 2008, Yuedong Shanghai Synchronized Skipping Team and China Synchronized Swimming Team gathered in Sanya to welcome the Olympic Games. Won the national jumping rope competition team championship.

In 2009, represented China in the 5th Asian Jumping Rope Competition; Won the excellent team in Shanghai.
