Hailuogou is located in Moxi Town, Luding County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, on the eastern slope of Gongga Mountain. It is a very high mountainous area on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is 280 kilometers away from Chengdu. Hailuogou is located at the foot of Gongga Snow Peak and is famous for its low-altitude modern glaciers. Crystal-clear modern glaciers pour down from high valleys; huge ice caves and precipitous ice bridges make people feel like entering the mythical Crystal Palace.

Walk 7 kilometers from Hailuogou Camp No. 1 to the hot spring health center of Camp No. 2 by the hot water ditch. There is a hot spring in Camp No. 2. From a distance, it is misty and spectacular. This spring is the most famous hot water ditch boiling spring in Hailuogou. Hotwater Gou Boiling Spring has water all year round, with a maximum day and night flow of more than 8,900 tons.
