When the night is quiet and the evening breeze is blowing, I sit in my study, turn on the small desk lamp, pick up a book, and my heart enters a transcendental mood. The tension and fatigue of the day are forgotten, and the worries and melancholy of life disappear. Without any fuss or interruption, I can wander alone between the lines - the flash of swords, the flying snow, the beauty of art, and the sigh of life all rush before my eyes. When you read something you understand, you may high-five and laugh, as if you were talking to the ancients; or you may stand by the window, watching the stars and the moon move, and listening to the shadows of the trees, which is even more enjoyable. Warm and hazy spring nights, smoky summer nights, graceful autumn nights, and quiet and severe winter nights all endow night reading with rich and colorful poetic flavor.

Once, I was studying at home. My mother came back from the street without her keys, and she couldn't open the door no matter how loud she made her voice. It wasn't until the phone kept ringing that I got up and opened the door.

If there were no books in my world, it would be like the sun losing its light and becoming dim; just like the earth losing its green color and turning into a desert; just like people missing limbs and having difficulty moving.

In my world, books allow me to swim in the ocean of knowledge. Books are my friends, teachers, relatives, and a part of my life.
