In the Ming Dynasty, there was a place called "Xiabanping" at the foot of Tashan. A clear stream flowed from the southeast, bypassed the lower halfping and then flowed out in the northeast. Standing on Tashan and looking down, a V-shaped stream appeared. The stream looks like two dragon whiskers.

What is even more surprising is that there is a pond at the front of the two "dragon whiskers", which look like two bright pearls under the sunlight. Local villagers believe that Xiabanping is a geomantic treasure land that can bless their hometown.

But Ye Xianggao, who was the chief minister of the cabinet at the time, wanted to find a good cemetery for himself a hundred years later. He visited around his hometown and fell in love with the lower half of the square, so he decided to build a tomb here. . But for the local villagers, the lower half of the square is regarded as the "dragon vein" of the township. Once it is damaged, it is very likely to bring unpredictable disasters. Everyone was very dissatisfied with this.

So, where did Ye Xianggao build his tomb later? What? On Tomb Pavilion Mountain in Dongtai Village, Qingkou, Minhou, a small peak in the Wuhu Mountains. Of course, this small mountain peak was not called Tomb Pavilion Mountain at that time. It was named by later generations because Ye Xianggao’s tomb was here.

There is a saying in Fuzhou that "the number one scholar does not have a son, Ye Xianggao does not have a son." Gao married one wife and one concubine, and had three sons and three daughters. All three daughters were married when they grew up. However, both the second son and the third son died of smallpox at an early age, and only the eldest son Ye Chengxue grew up.

Ye Xianggao loved his eldest son very much and had high hopes for him. Unfortunately, one year, Ye Chengxue went to Beijing to visit his father. On the way home, he contracted a cold and did not rest in time for treatment. When he passed through the mountains between Minhou and Fuqing. , Ye Chengxue died of a serious illness at the age of 36.

There is a small peak on Dongtai Mountain to the east of Chang Siling. The two mountains are facing each other in the sky, and Ye Xianggao is standing on this small peak. He built a large tomb himself. In the seventh year of Tomorrow (1627), Ye Xianggao died of illness at the age of sixty-nine and was buried here. This small mountain peak was later named "Tomb Pavilion" after the tomb. "Mountain".

The spring breeze in March blows through the mountains and rivers, and Wuhu Mountain is full of vitality.
