There are several gold processing plants in Horgos.

Horgos has two gold processing plants. According to relevant public information, Horgos belongs to Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China (PRC), and is located on the western border of China, bordering Kazakhstan and five Central Asian countries in the west and inland provinces and cities in the east. It is an important throat area of the New Eurasian Continental Bridge and the end of Lianhuo Expressway.
